Not my President - although I imagine our guy would be making friendly where he can.

Muslim communities exist in all communities and it's essential that we find a way to co-exist otherwise things will just get nastier and nastier. I have no problem even if I do feel awfully sad for the women. I don't think most in their communities want anything more than to be allowed to get on with life. As always, it's the minority that spoil it for the majority.

I can't disagree with the idea of allowing people to live how they want to live, though I think the idea that the women in those countries want to live how they are living is highly debatable. Either way, not my job to emancipate them from their captors (husbands).

There is still a huge difference between acknowledging that reality, and spouting off with any of the above quotes, which fly in the face of both reality and historic record. “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”? Are you F'n kidding me? “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”? So now free speech is the issue?

When I first read the list of quotes, I honestly couldn't believe they came from a US citizen, no less a politician.

i am a Muslim i will not try to defend any terror attack in religious background and few questions always come in my mind
Why there is no holy grave in west
why most terror attacks belong to Muslims
If Muslims kill non Muslims then who kills Muslims too many bomb blasts and a recent attack in Pakistan (My country) where more then 500 innocent kids of bellow 20 age killed
Masques of Muslims are called God's home is church not God's Home ?
Temples are not God's Home ?
Church are not God's home ?
Hindus dont believe in God ?
Christians dont believe in God ?
Jews dont believe in God ?
    Sikh and budh ?
100% of the killings since the first one belong to Muslims ?
in my opinion religions are used to get manpower for terror attacks
we should work together for peace without involving any religion
we should stop searching week points of religions
we should give shut up call to any one who divides humanity in name of religions
    we should work for humanity.
if i am Muslim its my personal matter
divide human in Families tribes and nations not religions
other wise millions of nations destroyed themselves and we are not doing any different

I think that's the key to harmony. My faith is my business - nobody else needs to know or care unless I involve them. Equally, another person's faith is their business and I have no right to judge them, convert them based on their faith.

Most of us are born into a family which has an established faith and the children adopt that faith blindly as they adopt all their parents values. As they grow up a child questions many of those values but faith tends to be a choice of "observe" or not. Few actively learn about other faiths and convert to them. To judge someone based on their faith is therefore ridiculous.
