$20 Quick S-I-M-P-L-E Poster design contest 24hrs

First of all guys thank you for the entries/alterations. I want to say this again with the risk of repeating myself. My belief is as a CH I need to give my feedback which is what I am doing. By giving feedback I don't want you to think this is a sneaky way to ask for changes. It's not. It's up to you whether or not you do changes. I just simply appreciate your entries and I am providing feedback.

Brainwaves, thanks for the new tries. They are certainly improving but they are not quite there. Your designs have some strong points but somehow there is something missing to make these strong points link well with the rest of the design. For example: although perhaps a little small the slogan appears highly visible and looks very simple and yet stylish. The globes (both with shadow and mirror effect) look good but they don't seem to somehow go well with the rest of the design. They don't seem to "match". The background colour is a little towards pink and I prefer some red. I also don't think that red on red goes well and I am referring to the word Yes inside the square. World class proteins I think would also look better in white.

offiri0: definitely an improvement but still not there. You're a very talented designer and I absolutely love that cocoa beans logo you did for me. However, I don't think this is one of your strong designs. It still looks a little plain although it looks better than the previous one. The slogan part would probably look better without the gradient. The circles look better balanced now but I am still sure you can do better. As it looks now I'm sorry but I still think it looks a little plain. I don't mind simple but I don't really want plain.

emos: thanks for the new ones. Still, the only part which I really like is the effect you've given to the logo. The slogan and the delivery thing seem a little hard to read the way you positioned them. Also I'm not sure about the grayish part towards the bottom. The logo looks good but the rest makes my eyes unable to focus and to read the message in a certain order.

I would like to close this contest like I said in 24hrs from the first post. I may need to get some rest soon but I will definitely be back with feedback. I don't want to take away from anyone's entries but I am still looking for something a little more stylish.

DaveyBoy: now that's what I call dedication. While in USA and you still managed an entry. Thanks mate. It looks very stylish and very clean which is great. The only places where you could improve is $7 could be bigger and perhaps you can add some effects or something to spice it up a little more but nevertheless this is one of my favorite entries so far.

Master.A: great entry. One of my favourites so far if not the #1. I have to ask you something and I NEVER asked anyone this before. You can check all my postings and you will see. What I want to ask you is, can you apply a different watermark. I can't seem to see the poster too well with these watermarks. For example, towards the bottom there seems to be some circles and I am not sure if this is part of your watermark or part of the actual design. The only negatives with your design are perhaps using a black outline for the globe and inside the circles $7 should be bigger. Other than that it looks good.

 

Here's my new one, am off out now so if there's no time to make other changes (I see its a 24hr contest) then i'll just leave this one

 

DaveyBoy, this contest is turning out better than I thought. Thanks for the new one. For anyone considering entering this competition, my favorite two so far (the ones you would need to beat) are Master.A #26 and DaveyBoy #28. I am off to get some rest but will come back with feedback and this competition is still open.

masterA: it looks good. Something is missing to give it that extra edge. it's a pleasant design don't get me wrong and it's still tied for the top spot with DaveyBoy's entry but I still feel like it's lacking something. I think it's perhaps a little plain or is is something else? I'm not fully sure

Brainwaves, sorry mate but I don't think that gray is working for me. Also I like DaveyBoy and Master.A entries better. Your entry somehow doesn't seem to flow well together. It's got some good elements but just not "flowing" well.

DaveyBoy: I like your entry and I am banging my head against a wall because I thought the poster would look better on a red background and yet I really like yours on a white background. I just don't know what i want anymore. It's still you versus Master.A even though they are different entries. I will try and close this within the 24hrs but the only thing I am thinking about your design which looks great is if perhaps instead of the delivery circles we used a different shape (a square,or rectangle). Even though I am not sure if this will make any difference. Hang on, I am going to bang the head again. BANG. Now I'm back. Really difficult making a decision.

If anyone else is considering entering this, there is still about 8 hrs left so get your entry in, but remember, you must do better than DaveyBoy and Master.A

I can certainly try with squares or rectangles but like you said it might not make that much of a difference to your actual choice on this contest.

I've tried with a gradient background...the circles from the bottom are not a part of the watermark.

Thanks Master.A and thanks to everyone who participated. Great effort guys.
But like always, there can only be one winner. In the end I decided to go with the logo on white and therefore I chose DaveyBoy as the winner. Davey, please pm me so I can send the payment and I will also need a small alteration.
