$20 Quick S-I-M-P-L-E Poster design contest 24hrs

Hey guys,

Here's a simple poster design that I need.

Requirements: in the middle top I need to have my logo which can be downloaded from here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/r9h0l2

I also need two squares, or two ovals, or two circles on each side of the logo to say inside of them: Yes! only $7 delivery fee Australia wide

Underneath the logo, almost from side to side of the poster I need to have my slogan: If you're not buying direct you're paying whey too much!

This is all that needs to go on the poster.

Size: pay attention to this, when the poster will be printed the size will be 3m wide by 2m height (this means landscape 3000mm by 2000mm). So yes, when printed this will be a BIG poster.

Colours: mainly red and white. However this poster will be printed in full colour so you can use additional colours but try and keep it to mainly red and white.

You can add your own touches and motifs for the background but I prefer a simple red, stylish and elegant looking poster similar to the one here below called Campus Rewards. I only inserted this to show you can still get a stylish looking poster without photos.

If you can't design a poster so big that is still ok. Just enter the competition and if I like your concept I will choose it as the winner and will get someone else to turn it into a larger design based on your concept.

Hey xara, thanks for getting this started. I appreciate the fast entry but I think you need to read the instructions again: 1) My slogan is missing and 2) I asked to have the Yes! only $7 delivery fee Australia wide inside some circles or squares on each side of the logo. So should be for example: Yes! only $7 delivery fee Australia wide then logo in the middle and again Yes! only $7 delivery fee Australia wide next to the logo. What you did looks good but it kind of splits the poster in half and you would need to make the poster look "whole" not split in half. Hope I am making sense

Whoops, only now I saw the second entry which DOES have my slogan. But still, please consider having one continuous poster and placing the delivery fee next to the logo (on each side of the logo).

offiri0: yes, that is all I want you to write inside the circles ("Yes! only $7 delivery fee Australia ") It is one sentence but you don't have to write it in a single straight line and it can be on top of each other

i dont exactly understand what you want but here as a start

 

offiri0: first of all thanks for the submission and thanks for choosing a red background. Let me try and explain: first of all the poster should be in a landscape format. Those two white circles should be next to the logo, so when I look at the poster I see: white circle, logo, white circle. Each white circle has to contain the following sentence: Yes! only $7 delivery fee Australia wide So both circles or rectangles or squares or whatever shape you choose should be identical in shape and content. Also from your poster the word IF is missing from the slogan. Other than that this is a very pleasant entry.

offiri0: #9 Thanks for this. It looks good position wise and you certainly understood what I am after. However, now it's just a matter of balancing it: the circles overpower the logo too much but the positive is they are very easy to read. The slogan though is hard to read. Perhaps if you used red letters and a white rectangle for the slogan to increase the visibility. Again this is just a suggestion and I am just offering feedback. By saying this I still appreciate your changes and trying to design a great poster.

xaralee: #10 also looks good position wise but the circles even though they look stylish are hard to read. I don't like that frame you're using where there is white going all around the edge of the whole poster. Also the slogan needs to stand out a lot more, perhaps by using red letters on a white rectangle for the slogan

hello, here's my entry !

 

Hey Brain, thanks for entering this. Even though I haven't picked a winner in a strange way I like yours the best. I am saying a "strange" way because even though I wouldn't use it as it is right now, it nevertheless is a very pleasant entry. I don't want to put anyone's designs down but the previous designs I got look a little plain somehow. The reason I would not pick yours though exactly as it is is because of several things: the background is not red (at least on my screen it's got a strange shade), the world class proteins part of the logo looks hard to read (perhaps change these letters to white or just use a white background for these letters only) and lastly, while I like those shapes you used for the delivery charge, the red inside looks a touch pale. Again, I am just letting you know my thoughts.

 

hey emos, thanks for entering this. i absolutely love that effect you've given to the logo. It just looks very nice and stylish and elegant. However, at the same time this is the only part of the poster that I like. I don't mind people going outside my directions design wise and you did that by placing the slogan twice, yet I still don't think the slogan is visible enough somehow. I think the poster needs to be simplified somehow for the slogan to stand out. The ovals look ok even though they still seem somehow hard to read and yes you can use other colours besides red and white but I don't think that using black for the text was the best option.

 

offiri0: #16 thanks for the new one. I am not sue the dimensions are quite right. To me it looks more like 3mx1m instead of 3mx2m. It just seems too narrow. I think it looks a little too crammed in somehow. The slogan looks good, it is very visible but perhaps too close to the logo. I can't really fault it except to say that it looks a little plain. I don't mind simple, in fact I like simple but plain I am not a fan of. Perhaps if you used some effects or something, I'm not sure but it looks a little plain. Also thanks for making the world class proteins white so it looks good on the red background.

The background color do have a little focus shade let me know if you want that to be removed, though i have made it more red now.
