My entry: Done in photoshop so it is not vector. I can, however, remake it in illustrator as vector if needed. Feedback please.
Hi there, I asked Narek, and he took a look at the designs, however did not find anything that "jumps out and says that's it..." He decided to sketch some specific designs and just have you put it into digital and nice format. I will submit the sketches when he forwards them to me... Some of you asked for feedback: @nwsn3twrkshp: I it is definitely improved, but the shield and the letters are not consistent with each other, one is glassy and the other one is plain. Don't work on this design anymore, Narek is going to draw specific design he came up with... it is going to be easier... no confusion. @Gorgon: I don't know why, but it is not it, it is close though to the explanations above. Read the message I left for nwsn3twrkshp above. @j0sh097: Nice shield, I like it... it is glassy, that's what we were looking for. You probably put a lot of effort into it. Don't want to offend you, but the banner is inconsistent with that gorgeous shield because it is stiff and dry. @untitledstudios: I appreciate your effort to make it better. It is nice, but not what we are looking for just because it is a little underdeveloped. Question: What do you think, should I close this thread and start a new one if there is going to be a specific design for you to draw? Thank you, Greg
Thank you for your feedback. Here is a revision that looks less 'stiff' (any jaggedness around the edges can be easily fixed). I'd be more than happy to make any additional revisions if need. IMO you should just do it here but if you do make a new one please post a link here. Thank you.
Hi all, This is the update from Narek, I promised you to post a specific sketch to make it much easier for you to digitalize it in a nice way. This is the sketch itself: (The colors on the right for you to see what the color of each component should be. For your info: the dark blue color that is used is #1b4faa and the light blue is #406bb8, the other two are white and lite grey, suggestions about the best combination of color ARE WELCOME) link: THE SKETCH Thought: I thought it would be much easier to just draw over the sketch in a vector format and maintain the proportions, which is very important. However, I don't know whether it is possible or not. AND here is an example of the feel it should have, meaning, this is an example of how the colors should interact and contrast each other, but it does not mean that you should copy anything from it. link: THE FEEL OF THE LOGO If you have any question or suggestion, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you, Greg P.S. Yes, the arrow like sign is not really an arrow, it is a shape of a pyramid in the background so it seems as though the letters N and G are written on the pyramid.
@vibinhari: I like your style... but it is all about what Narek wants here He is the final decision maker... @j0sh097: I like your responsivenes, and your shield was the inspiration for the sketch colors above. Take a look at the post above, you might do pretty well if you can come up with a nice looking middle (innitials) piece.
My re-entry: This one was done in illustrator as vector so it is completely re-sizable. Made according to the design and colors specified. Feedback is welcome to make revisions.
This is great. Now, lets play a little bit around it: 1) Make this changes to a copy logo: Make the name on the banner a little bolder, make the pyramid lines be less noticeable, meaning, try to fuse it into the background so the initials stand out more. (you can try different colors for the pyramid lines too, so it all fits together in a harmonic way. 2) In this copy, everything is the same as in #1, except, you can try different colors for the initials. For example: different shades of yellow. Basically, use your talent to make it look eye friendly and real like a 3D shield. You are almost done... Thank you, Greg
This is awesome... more logo type... I personally like the left one, but don't know about Narek. Ayway... 1) See if you can improve the font of the text on the banner by either using different fonts to make it look better, or capitalize like here: LINK 2) See if you can make the ends of the banner slitted into two parts, like the sketch illustrates. 3) I hope this is in png, so it can be put in front of any color background... Good job, Greg P.S. originality and innovation always pays...
I appreciate the your efforts; however, it is a little bit off. take a look at the logo IM3D made... that is what kind of logo we are looking fore just because it looks like a logo and it is appealing to the general public. Thank you, Greg
Your efforts are appreciated... We basically not looking to copy somebody elses logo, it is just an example. This logo is very similar to the example. But hey... you improved it a great deal. Thank you, Greg
