I don't check PMs as often, and won't guarantee that those orders will be looked at during the sale period). 1. The company name / URL. 2. The media contact info (You must include a full name, phone number, and email address - preferably on the company domain). Mailing address, fax, cell, etc. are optional. 3. The hometown for the dateline of the release. You can use your actual hometown or nearest major metropolitan area. 4. The general news angle that you're trying to get publicity through. 5. Give me a paragraph or two of a description of the site and its primary features (that set it apart from competitors) in your own words... not just a boilerplate "about us" paragraph. I need to know what your emphasis is on, and I may or may not pull some of this info for a quote. 6. Any background stats or other info that helps - the launch date is a must. Other things might include how many copies of a software package were sold, how many forum members or posts there are, etc., depending on the type of company / site you run. 7. The email address where you would like the release sent (if different than the email address you contact me through). 8.
