Contest $20 Medical College Logo Contest! 48 hrs - Quick Payment

Hi,

I am looking for a logo for a medical college. I am doing this pro-bono, so I can't run a higher value contest.

Here is what I want for the logo:
1. Shield style logo. A shield with logo on it. Shield design (top of shield) should incorporate the college façade - photo attached.
2. Incorporate your interpretation of the Doctor's symbol - photo attached.
3. Be bold with your concepts and colors, but avoid fluorescent colors.
4. Should look good in black and white, as well as in color.
5. The text contained should be "Dr. S.N. Medical College".
6. Mention that college was established 1965.
7. Delivery is expected in layered PSD/AI and large transparent PNG (black, white and color).

Only original work. No work submitted to other clients/copied.

I will provide feedback for all submissions. Will also answer any questions regarding the logo and what specifically I want.
Winner will be paid via Paypal.

Thanks for the submission @alphacentauridsgn
Overall, I like the design, but if the zig-zag pattern was closer to the image (not above the building, but a part of it) and the windows were flat (instead of angled) it would be great.
Also, the 1965 is too prominent. If you could change to "Established 1965" reduce size and have it in a circle inside the stars, it would be great.
I will have to share with client and get their approval.

To the guys who sent designs by PM, I will give you feedback on PM.

Edit requirements:
The shield is not necessary. Concepts without shield are also welcome.

Also, the design should be color. It should also look good in a single color (will be used on b&w printouts).

And the winner is... @shrikant163 for a design shared by PM! There's still a bunch of small changes to be made, which I will let you know by PM. If you could share the final design on the thread, it would be helpful to the others.

@shrikant163 Final logo submission was modern clean and simple enough to be used everywhere. I will let you know of the changes.

@me2_me2 Great retro design. I liked the accuracy of the façade of the college. The simplicity was beautiful.

@Skaritza Overall good clean design. Loved the little details of the roof. (which can only be seen in the yellow design) Presentation could have been improved - a small logo on a large sheet of paper did not help.

@alphacentauridsgn Your designed started getting everyone inspired. A grand and regal design!

@cypry The design was all over the place. Weird texture in the back and a random building out front. You should pay more attention to the requirements.
