I've just started my first adword campaign. I have 20 Long Tails and No impressions. Can somebody help? Thanks.
Ok.. Thanks I'll go ahead and makes some changes.. I'm new to this game so you have to excuse me..LoL Thanks for the help!
No worries. At the start always good to have some non-long tail keywords, then use analytics to determine which long tail keywords you should be using. Good luck.
i think playing with match types can also help - just be careful with default Broad match - i'd recommend to use Phrase for a start...
You may consider using some non-competitive keywords, non-competitive terms will likely see little change, but big money keywords are going to become more expensive to rank for now as advertisers decide to bite the bullet and pay higher for the first page.
Hi, Use some specific keywords related to your products or services instead of long tail keywords, use some common keywords with keyword phrase, use exact match, phrase match. make more ad copy for every keywords.
Follow three basic rules as a newbie. 1) use EXACT match only. 2) Keep your bid high to get higher CTR 3) Long tail shouldn't be too long tail, coz long tail gets less impressions unless very popular and if its poular long tail, you are most likely not on page 1 lol. So think logically.
Thanks to all for the advice. I finally got some impressions. I changed My max bid to 0.15. I think it was too low initially. Now I just need to make some changes to my landing page. So hopefully I can convert. Does any one know what a good conversion rate for Sales is(I guess is the correct term is hops).
please check if these keywords really have traffic . If these keywords have traffic , please adjust your adwords setting
I'm starting to have success now. After trial and error One of my campaigns is has 40 clicks 23 hops with a CTR of 12%. Is this good? It's better than some of my others so I'm going to ride this for a minute and see if I can get a sale. But if it exceeds the price of commission then I'll have to move on to another product or maybe a higher paying product though. No sales yet though only been in the game for maybe 2 months.
