    We have a logo which is already a good basis, but needs some polishing to become a real exciting and professional logo

    Its about a conference in Berlin for the topic of hairs
    The main visual choosen is the "Brandenburger Tor"
    If you search Google for images with "brandenburger tor logo" you will find a wide range of varieties, here a more abstract form was choosen

    Text see the draft
    Colours should fit to the society logo

    Looks nioce, but it is not necessary to stay that close to the original.

    Just another word to text:
    Date May 7th-10th and 9th Anuual meeting are less important. If can get them both in the logo fine, anyhow smaller than society name and the slogan

    One thing seeing the drafts: I also started myself with putting the logo simply on top.
    This has 2 problems:
    - the logo is pretty separated from the graphic
    - the logo becomes very high. This will create some problem later using it in a website header

    @remus94 : Its a very nice create solution, but the characteristic parts of the logo (the red square follice + hair jumping out of orange base) have fully gone lost. Also very small not... ... the middle opening of the building is a bit wider ...

    @getdomain4u : I really like the aproach with the shield !

    Its just a bit overloaded, especially too detailed and massive in the top area
    The shield could also have bit less height
    The line should from the "Tor" shout not go into the red square

    looks much better. Can you bring back the society logo in the old size & position ?
    Maybe prolong the shield a bit to the right
