$20 logo/header contest

I need a logo for my wife's culinary blog. The blog is called Teo's Kitchen and it has a header right now, but my wife wants something else, something better than that.

Keep "Teo's Kitchen" in mind, and write it in the logo/header... the rest is up to you... please use graphics with items you use in the kitchen.. anything you think it will work.

This contest will end on the 10th of september. The winner will receive the $20 via paypal after I get the .psd file.

looks nice, but first of all... there's a guy cooking in that picture... the logo is for my wife's blog... so if you put a picture with someone cooking, i think there should be a woman, not a man. second, the header is red... and the blog colour is blue... can you try another colour?

I saw on the blog that the header place is very large.
should we design that large?

How about this? Woman cooking...blue palette for the banner. Would include .PSD file.

 

about the size of the header... it should be the same with the one on the blog.... 980px × 200px
if you're doing a logo... then you choose the size, because the logo will be applied over the present header.

A-Q , that's a very nice header. Can you round the corners, also can you apply some kind of border and a shadow? just like in the actual header..

A-Q, looks very nice with the additional modifications. I will still have to ask my wife if she likes it.

cottonStella, could you use the first picture with the font used in the second. please remove the knife, spoon and fork and add the chef's hat that you used in the first header. please move the text, down in the left corner. also try to use the same colour variation you applied on the first text.
