Contest $20 Logo Design Contest

Looking for a logo for my new project called:

Expert Marketing Hacks

It will be a site that gives hacks/shortcuts for marketers with actionable guides.

I'm open to suggestions for style and colour scheme though I have in mind something that looks premium. Maybe a darker background and lighter text, but very much open to ideas.

The logo can have the words separate (as above) or can move them together as 'ExpertMarketingHacks'.

I'd be looking for both a square and wider horizontal version for use on different platforms.

Will require the following deliveries from the winner:

• Original PSD/Vector file
• jpg variations
• Favicon version

 

Thanks, all of these are nice designs but none are quite doing it for me so far. Hard to put my finger on exactly why but they all feel very similar to what's already out there.

Keep trying, as soon as something catches my eye I'll let you know.

Remember, we are trying to look premium and modern, but I don't want it to look like any other marketing logo.

 

@logos4all - I like the professionalism of this one. Though it probably reminds of some kind of financial trading logo more than what my target market is. May be worth trying in some different colour variations though.

@Blue Tamaraw - While I like it as a logo, I don't think it quite has the 'premium' angle nailed. Reminds me more of some kind of friendly marketing blog, not the hard-hitting angle I'm going for.

@me2_me2 - This one has potential. Would be good to maybe see some colour injected, maybe on the vertical line. The logo feels like it needs a bit more of something but not sure what.

All other entries are nice but not quite right.

 

@third_vertex - The font is OK but not keen on the icon I'm afraid. Looks too busy/complex.

@me2_me2 - It's nice but you haven't really made the changes I asked for - you've gone too far towards what everyone else is doing!

 

@me2_me2 - Sorry I think you're misunderstanding. Try your first entry just with the vertical line in a different colour (amber may work). Then we can take it from there.
