Hello, everyone! I am officially opening a competition to have a logo designed for my site. URL: Color Scheme: Fitting with the style of the site. Award: $20 USD via PayPal Length of Contest: 24 hours (or less) I would appreciate it if the winner would provide me with: 1) The logo in a standard image format for my site 2) An infinitely scale-able .psd so I can continue to resize and use the logo. I'm not looking for anything complex and I don't really have any specific suggestions. Just something that carries a professional appearance and fits in with a webmaster-related blog/magazine. It should look clean and modern. There are some cool logos available if you search Google for 'modern logo.' Maybe a few of those could serve as inspiration. If you submit a logo here, please watermark it. I will provide feedback to all submissions. I'd also like to keep in touch with the winner because I'll have higher-paying graphic design jobs in the future. Thank you!
Well, I advice you to not use clip arts. http://vectorcharacters.net/geek-vector-characters/nerd-vector-character-2
johnrossgd - Thank you for the submission! I like the direction you took with the logo but it's a bit too plain for our site. We're seeking something that's more memorable or has a unique flair to it. Snowknight - Thank you! I appreciate the submission. Unfortunately, it's too rounded and it has an 'older' feel to it - it doesn't seem modern to me. Mr.Carn3x - As Monkz pointed out, clipart is not the way to go here. Gibblet - Thanks for the submission! It's a great logo and I seriously considered it but, at the end of the day, I'm left with the feeling that something is missing from it. It's too simplistic. Logoesdesign - Great logos! Thanks for the submission. Right now, it's a tie between you and another - I'll get back to you soon. Vicky786 - Fantastic! I really like what you did with the logo (particularly the blue one). The only thing I would change is the guys on the left. I think they're a great touch, but could we maybe stylize them differently? Maybe another similar approach? I'd like to see another idea if you wouldn't mind just to see what it would look like. rxzor - Thank you for submitting a design. Unfortunately, your design is too simplistic for me. I'm looking for something a bit more memorable with some kind of unique attachment.
