$20 Logo Contest

Site background: My new site is called "Amazing Autographs" (www.amazingautographs.net) and displays ebay auctions for celebrity autographs

Look: I want a professional, web 2.0 brandable logo. The logo should be placed on the left of a plain 760 x 140 header so that space is left on the right for a tag line. At the moment the site does not have any colour, and as I am not very good at choosing colour combinations please hit me up with some suggestions for site colours to go with the logo. One idea I had was an open autograph book with the words "Amazing Autographs" in a script type font written across one of the pages - you can either go with this suggestion or come up with your own.

Prize: $20 via Paypal

Time: Contest runs until Sunday, December, 23rd. However, I may cut the contest short if I receive an entry I like

Thanks for all of the submissions so far. Here is some feedback:

b4db0y: The design needs to be more of a web 2.0 design with strong colours and cartoony look. I do not want photos incorporated into the design.

TheChosenOne: Good start - I like the font you used for the word "Autographs", but the design needs to be more professional.

jasoncdu: This looks proffessional and you have obviously spent some time designing this. However, the book looks more like a lugguage tag, and I am reading the text as "autographs.net amazing" instead of "amazing autographs.net" - May be this is just me? Great start though.

waxingpoetic: Great effort for your first contest However, if you are going to go with my suggestion, could you make the book look more like an autograph book, and make the words look as though they were written on the pages.

steveorm3l: You design is my favourite so far - Strong colours and a simple bold design. Can you make the design narrower so that I can put a tagline to the right of it. How about putting the pen and the word "Autographs" below the word "Amazing".
