Hi fellow designers I'm re-doing all of my portfolio and stuff. Removing all the junk i did when i was a newbie designer, Pay all my pending payments, etc... So i need a new more professional logo! My current one is this: As you can see, its a very simple yet brandable logo which i did. I liked it simple. But now, anything which looks charming will do. The name, as you might have guessed, is Campolar Designs (if you could come up with a better name with a .com available and dont wanna register it yourself, i'd be glad to know ). The URL is http:// campolar . me, which currently holds a very boring page which i am redoing. I will run this contest till i can find 5 shortlisted logos. Which means about 2-3 days. The winner will be paid via paypal. And i will also try making my own logo too. Which means other contestants might not win. BUT to make that FAIR, (if it happens) i will make a voting thread in the graphic design forum, and let the members decide which they feel as best (from the 5 shortlisted ones). Contestants will not be allowed to vote for themself, they can vote for others. Tho i doubt i will make any, too lazy, but if i do make something i like, i'll make it all fair. --------------------------------------- Name: Campolar Designs Tagline: Add if it makes the logo look better, think something of your own like "Designing all you need!" I will provide feedback to every entry PS: If you wanna use my orignal concept of a brush inside a square/cube, feel free to do so. You can even manipulate it with fire or stuff!
Oooh this is an interesting one campolar!! Be interesting to see how this one turns out. Bedtime here for me but I might give it a shot tomorrow.

Doesnt sound weird to me... remember I'm someone who holds contests for Logos... and then has a go (not very successfully mind you!) at designing myself!! lol
Graffworld2: Nice idea, if possible, can you make the symbol a bit more roundish? It looks like it has rough edges. And oh, its "campolar and not "camopolar" Adwaitk007: Nice design, but the logo with the pencil and the pencil line makes it too vertical. If you could fix it into being more of horizontal, it'll be great
sparky_spk: That's too shiny. And it doesn't look like its a vector. I need a vectorized logo so i can scale it. adwaitk007: You just made it more vertical! I need "horizontal". And i guess its better you change the pencil body's red and yellow to some more easy to the eye colors...
adwaitk007: I guess to make it more of a horizontal logo, you could try making the pencil smaller? And change the pencil colors, its just removing the charm...
There is no specific size requirement. Your logo looks tooooooo squarish, and fitting it on a normal website would be hard unless you make it real smal... Making the pencil smaller and making it fix into the height of the text would be good. If you don't feel like doing more, np, i may take u into consideration but let the other entries arrive.
