$20 Logo Contest

Hi.
I'm looking for a logo design for my new website.
This content will end on 5th of November at midnight GMT (7pm EST.)

The logo will need to incorporate the words portfolio and heaven.
A couple of ideas that you could use:

Note:
You could try adding objects that represent video, audio, images and text.

I have already got a couple of ideas which I have made an attempt at creating. These are below:

Note: I will only purchase a logo that I'm happy with. If by the end of the contest I have not found a logo that I like the contest will end and I will run another contest at a later date.

It sounds like you are looking for something "web 2.0", or are you considering other options as well?

It looks excellent but I don't like the sun rays in the back. The web 2 style is good. You could try adding objects that represent video, audio, images and text. They could be coming out of the folders. Maybe also include a cloud.

Web 2.0 would be my preference, but if you think that you have something thats really impressive you can post it too.

Good attempt but its not really what I am looking for. The style of the files are too old and it looks web 1.0. Try replacing the files for a more web 2 icon and improved the text.

It looks good but there isn't anything in it thats unique / stands out.

Its an okay try, but looks somewhat amateur and isn't to my liking. It looks too plain.

The second one also represents the sounds/volume/bitrate levels of audio and video. as well as being made of folders.

Its not quite what I wanted, ill try to photoshop something that you can work from. look below.

I like the colours but they take the concentration off the name and onto the images. I like the second one but when you first look at it, you cannot really tell that it represents levels of audio, looks more like stacks.

It looks too cartoony and the objects that are sticking out look unrealistic.

I need the folders to be standing up, like in the image I posted. There is too much colour in your image. The cloud looks too cartoony, i need it more realistic. The objects that are sticking out do not look realistic, they appear to be floating.

So are you wanting us to use some of the folder icons you just posted?

 

They are just to give you some ideas on web2 icons.
You don't have to use them.

Here same thing with reflection effect... =)

 

I dont need the halo. The cloud doesn't look right. Theres nothing that represents audio or video. They are two major aspects that I need. The folders aren't rotated enough, look at my image again. This is alot better then your first version. Were getting there.

 

Moved Cloud up, and text down. Ideas with cloud?
Added three images to middle folder, deleted halo. 3 too many?
Rotated folders, maybe needs a lil more not sure.


2nd small fixes - Fixed mirror shading and enlarged clouds bottom...hmmmm

Do'h, I think this is what you meant with rotate folders according to your image.
