$20 Logo Contest - Local website - Color And Layout already chosen

If you feel something else needs to go on it then let me know. i don't know much about kentucky, so i can't really get a feel for the logo. let me know some more about the place, and i'll try and implement a picture if need be.

 

@speno - the place isn't that important as what people can do there, it's a community site, I like the idea in an earlier one with cards or icons for

photos, forum, profiles picture, etc.

Right im not totally sure thats kentucky, i may be totally wrong, youll have to let me know what you think.

 

@msdriven79 - thanks for another attempt but I'm still not feeling the stock image of people there

@Speno - love the font and text and probably wouldn't change that, integration is nice also, and the kentucky thing is ok

however that callout on the map isn't working. maybe something about where georgetown is on the map like a pinpiont, or x, or google dot, or profile thing there... not sure but something CUTE and I hope you get the idea.. (sorta like when you travel around you put the dot on where you've been)

also maybe make the whole logo smaller, currently it takes up 2/3 the width

 

i think this looks better.

Speno's would look great placing a small speech bubble to locate Georgetown on the map. Just my opinion

 

@iJeff - cool idea with the postmark however I'm liking Speno's a bit better, and it might look better with the callout instead of the star, thank you

@all - I think speno may be close to the winner here if speno wouldn't mind doing a few more alterations, just a heads up to save your attempts for another thread

@speno - the text looks good size now, maybe shrink the state down to match it and try with a call out where georgetown is?
