Contest $20 logo contest for Vagobond.com - 48 hours

I want a new logo for Vagobond.com

Have a look at the existing logo at http://www.vagobond.com

Your design should incorporate the vagobond rabbit and say something (visually or textually) about world travel and/or independent travel. The logo should fit with the existing color and design of the site as I don't want to redesign the site.

There's no guarantee that I will select any logo, but if I like your logo you should be willing to provide it to me in a variety of sizes and formats. At least one of the logos you provide should be the same dimensions as my existing logo.

If you have any questions, let me know. If I find a design I like, the winner will be notified and paid in 48 hours by paypal. $20.

Idea - the name of the company "Vagobond" with the words "Go On" highlighted.

The words "Go On" would be apt for a travel website because other than the obvious Going On a vacation, the phrase is encouraging (showing that vagobond guides people) and also a challenge (signifying the adventure you are promising)

Font selection - something simple, rounded and sans serif (matching the rabbit)

Color selection - although blue didn't go with the color scheme of your website, 'go on' needed to stand out. Can be converted to grey (matching the website theme) or any other color on request

I'm loving these designs. There will definitely be a winner. I want to wait 24 hours for the end of the contest period to see what else comes up. I'm laughing my ass off about the one with the snail...how does that include the rabbit? Is it about slow travel? lol.

 

Something like putto and vibiinhari's designs fused together would work. I love the 'go on' and the world being so obvious in the design. Definitely keeping the rabbit clear is important to me. These are the two designs that are working best for me right now...if someone could capture the best parts of both- that would probably do it. 24 hours to go.

This one looks better, putto,, but I have to say that I like the blue better than the orange with the go on. Also, I like the clarity of the bunny in vibinhari's design. Also, be careful, the spelling is V-A-G-O-B-O-N-D

It's getting closer to what I want. Cliche or not, I like the globe you're using in this design. I'm not crazy about the cursive script. Carnage and Jahye have come much closer to the mark with the 'world travel-world life' portion. Hope the feedback isn't an issue...just want you guys to know what I am looking for in the closest possible terms.

What I like so far - the rabbit not to be changed, the globe for the first 'o', go on in blue, the world travel-world life of jahye, the light mirror effect of putto.

The Winner is Jhaye. His design ultimately captured what I was asking for the best. I like the simple 'Go' quite a bit and his lettering and font layout worked well form me. You guys are all awesome designers. Look for more contests from me in the future.
