Im looking to get a logo designed for a new forum that I am building.

The domain name is IMMasters.com and the site will be an internet marketing / seo and webmaster forum.

I would like the text to say IM Masters. ( no .com in the text ).

We haven't thought of a slogan yet. So please just put in the text: "Forum Slogan goes in here" as a placeholder.

We want only a custom icon. No google images, no premade stocks, no premade icons. We like the idea of possibly an IMM for the image.

The logo needs to fit around the forum being around an internet marketing forum. But we want it to remain professional. So no cheap images of bundles of cash or anything.

The logo will be on this forum skin: http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1562/forumskin.png So it needs to match that. Showing what the logo would look like on the site will benefit you.

I will give feedback for all entries. But there may be delays as I am occupied during the day.

The contest will run for 48 hours from the time of this post and the winner will receive $20 via PayPal. I have ran many successful contests before and hope this will be another one.

s521525: Sorry I don't really like it. It doesn't look very professional and the font seems to standard. The letters in the image are also quite hard to distinguish as well.

adwaitk07: The text needs fixing up as it is IM Masters not IM Master. ( you forgot the s at the end of Masters. ) Also the logo looks a bit to compressed and small. Would prefer it to be longer and more of a horizontal logo then vertical.

darike: None of the logo's really jump out at me as having that wow factor. They look a bit too simple and plain. Also we would prefer not to have the .com in the logo. I do like the second concept the best though.

pipo: The logo doesn't have the wow factor or professionalism that we are after. The font seems quite blocky and doesn't seem to fit in, possibly try some other fonts. Also the back image to the logo doesn't seem to fit in as well.

 

All done. Here goes my concept. 'IMM' in a chat bubble that signifies 'forum / communication etc'.

 

Shinan: Thanks for the entry, this is more along the lines of what we are after. However the chat bubble just doesn't seem to fit in. I really like the font but could you play around with some other variations of the icon?

divineworld: The logo looks a bit too bubbly for our taste. Also the icon is only IM rather then IMM.

Also just to a general suggestion to everyone. You aren't restricted to IMM for the icon. It was merely a possible suggestion.
