Hello fellow DP members, I have a logo contest and here are the details. I will pay $20 for a creative logo. It must be available in a vector and a smaller .jpg or .gif. file. The idea for the logo is a potato that has small branches coming out of it and at the end of the branches money is hanging down. Thus, it is a potato that grows money. The website is for those who wish to learn about personal finance, credit cards etc. You can visit the website at the below URL to get a feel for size and color scheme. Website: http://tinyurl.com/6agury As far as the slogan is concerned, it needs to say the following: "MoneySpud - Grow Your Wealth" - Possibly this can be separated on two lines, or in some way around the potato. I was thinking that you could do a white background so that the potato with the money is visible and then it could have blue text for the slogan that matches the site. The contest will last 48 hours. Payments through paypal. Thank you to everyone who participates. The payment will be made within 2 hours or selected winner!
Here are a couple of tries from me. Just two slightly different variations. It is vector so I can make it anysize. tried to match it to your web site. Here the samples.
Thank you for the efforts. Unfortunately, this is not on target. I was hoping that the potato would have sprouts coming out of it, which look more like vines, rather than human arms Again, cheers for your efforts.
Did the potato look ok ? I can make some smaller eyes on the spud, so that they look more like vines. Other than the sprouts was it ok?
It does look better.. I feel it could look a little more professional, possibly the money could be enhanced a bit? It is certainly an improvement, and I want to thank you for your efforts. I will be making my final decision within 24 hours. Maybe something like I see at this - not a real photo but a drawing of sorts of this type of look Having money hanging from the leafs? .. I am open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!
I am rushed to get a final design, as it is greatly needed on the site. Thus I will keep this content open for 3 more hours. I look forward to hearing from you and appreciate all of your efforts.
jwilkins - thanks I look forward to your entry A4Hire - It is just not coming out as I would like, but you should be commended for your efforts.
Thank you to all who attempted to create this unique and somewhat difficult task. Unfortunately, I did not find a design which hit the mark to win the contest. The contest is now closed. Thanks!
In the end I received a PM from a talented logo designer, and she won the content! Great work Lunamaya!
