$20 illustration/character design contest of girl by pink car!

Hi there! Here's with changes and I made a new blonde girl. I can still make the car shine but since time is running out if my design will be chosen I can make the car shine.

 

I made some more changes. They are optional I have the other revision still. Just another variety of the picture in case you like it. I added lighting to the headlights, made the dress shiny and pronounced the shape of the wheels with lighting. I also added PINK to the license plate which can naturally be any word you want.

 

Remember that the competition will be closing later tonight (or tomorrow morning depending on your time zone). If you still want to enter, or make changes to your design, feel free to do so! It will be closing in about 8 hours from now.

I don't have my file with me. its on the computer at home. So I will check here later and if it is still open tonight I will do some updates. if my existing entry is chosen I can make any mods to it, add more bling etc,, and it is all vector so it can be made any size.

 

Are there any more changes you would recommend for me to do?

 

I'm still waiting for people who told me via PM that they will be entering tonight, as well as some others who are busy making changes. It's already midnight here in South Africa and I know it's still pretty early in the US, so I decided to give everyone a few hours longer. Tomorrow morning when I wake up (it will be around 8am my time, but I think it will be around 1 or 2 am in the US), I'll announce the winner. That will give you all like an extra 8 hours! So, good luck. I'm giving you 8 more hours (starting now), then I'm announcing the winner!

Sorukayde Not really anything that NEEDS to be a changed, but you can if you want, play with it a bit to give it a funky touch, maybe let her carry books or make her wear jewelery or something... but that's only if you feel you want to... since I have no clue who I'm gonna choose. If you don't have the time for it don't worry about it, I do have a pretty good idea of what your design looks like... so that's okay.

Update!!!

Thank you all for taking part in the contest! Totalx90 made adjustments to his/her design, but I still wasn't satisfied so he/she has resigned from the contest.

The entries I've received are really good, however they're all lacking some funkiness. There is no problem with any of the cars, they all look REALLY good! But, I'm not satisfied with any of the girls. I think I didn't give you guys enough information regarding how the girl should look. I did say it should have a sexy touch to it, but I forgot to mention that the girl should look young and look like a college student… maybe carrying books or whatever.

I don't want to just close the contest and not choose a winner because you all worked hard on your designs, and I should probably have given more information about what the girl should look like. I have not made any final decisions yet, because I firstly wanted to hear how you guys feel about this:

I will through in another $10, which will make the winning prize $30, if all of you will give your girl a redo. I will give more information, and ideas I have. I was thinking to close this thread and start a new one since I can't edit my original post, this is to welcome more people to enter… because the prize money is higher now, and to make the instructions clearer.
So, basically it will be like a new contest, but still with the same requirements and all. None of you have to start over your designs, the people who have already entered in this thread must just make adjustments to the girl to make it look more like I want it to. So basically, it's still the same contest, just in a new thread, with higher prize money, so you guys can make adjustments to your designs.

Let me know how you all feel about this, and if you're "In" to continue taking part in this contest, for higher prize money. If you are all okay with it, I will start the thread today with the new information. Contest will then close on Sunday. What do you think?

 

ok just give us the new thread and I'll post there with my new enhanced design and new look of the blond girl.

 

I'm a little upset just because we have all worked really hard on these designs and it keeps getting prolonged etc. I think it's great you're adding another $10 to the competition though and it won't take me too long to create a new picture of a sexy school girl type outfit for the design. I suppose I will begrudgingly accept the whole new thread thing if you feel that is best.

In the meantime ill get to work on the revisions.

Sorukayde, I know, sorry about that, that's why I added the extra $10 to make up for it. Hope you guys are not too mad at me LOL! I did at the beginning say that I have the right not to choose a winner... I don't want to just close the contest and not choose a winner, that's why I extended it and added the extra $10.

 

It's no problem, I'll have the revisions made sometime this afternoon. Just bear with me as I have some other work to do today as well.

 

No problem, you have time until Sunday. When I post the new thread I'll give some more information about the girl... so don't rush right now. I'm just firstly waiting for some of the others to come online.

ok, this is actually good news for me because I did not have time to update my drawing yet. I will start on making the school girl look to the girl in my drawing. You said college so I am thinking maybe jeans and something like that, add in some books and some other items too. Please let me know any other details and when you start the new contest.
