Why submit to SEs if they will crawl all the sites all over the web? What do you think? SEs continues to crawl the web and find links as possible as they can... So instead submit to directories....
I have not submitted my site to any directories because directory submission is a bit time-consuming and many of them require reciprocal links, but I do post many sensible comments in many blogs. That is how I build inbound links for my sites.
Great tips but some of the tips above are not necessary anymore. Although there is no wrong if you try like submitting your site to SE but I prefer to submit my site to directories than to SE's.
