Vivko: What about changing to '.' on valletta to a 'maltese cross', making the islands in blue (maybe) and trying maybe 'hotels' in white.

 

These are the 2 I like the most till now ...

anidesign: maybe try the hotel in different colour and centered text?

 

hmm maybe text few pixels on top of sea (not touching) or underneath. Not quite sure of hotel pic or its position (maybe add some cool effect) ... but you have a good chance anidesign

 

maybe some feedback on my entry

 

seni: sorry for that hehe ... bit too squarish, hotel pic is kinda a stone, but cool idea (like the colours), feel free to come up with more options

crowquill: nice try, i like it. just to see how it looks maybe try replace '-' between malta and hotels with a pic of bed or plane (something similar to symbol) and use the maltese cross instead of the '.' If the red color of the maltese cross does not match with the rest of the logo, try changing '-' only. Would like to see the url wrapped around the outside circle too
