All this article tells you how to do is increase your Alexa rating without actually increasing the popularity of your site... I think the better way to increase your Alexa rating is to just let it happen organically, as a reflection of the actual popularity of your site.

 

Alexa is useless. Period.

I wish people would worry about increasing TRAFFIC and REVENUE instead of this pointless number.

agreed. Alexa is just something u use to make yourself feel better even though it is not indicative of how successful your site is. Instead focus on getting quality traffic rather than trying to manipulate this weak system and get nothing out of it but a number.....

Im having problem also with my Alexa Traffic. But Most of them advice me not worry too much on it...

 

I agree with all the Alexa nay sayers. It's a number that changes about every day, but you can't base any advertising or ROI on it, so it's kind of like a way to see what a competitor's number is, and see where you're at comparatively, nothing more.

 

Besides the fact that not everybody has the alexa toolbar, methods (like listed) help people beat alexa's system.
