I am looking for a simple way to manage contact e-mails in a way which will not allow a duplicate e-mail to be entered into the database. This is to prevent contacting the same person twice.

If you are able to simply set me up with a way to do this please PM me and once set up I will provide $20 payment via paypal.

    Thanks

Currently there is not any check, I am using a simple CMS which does not support any way to prevent duplicates. If I could keep an area with the initial contacts and then transfer them into the CMS then I would be set.

Project still open. To clarify, I have a running list of e-mails, and I would like some method to prevent addition duplicate e-mails to be added to the list. Please PM me with a solution to this problem.

    Thanks

if you really want to, you could take a simple sql query and run it whenever you want to make sure there are no duplicates. This way, you can enter in whatever you want, but whenever you want it to send it out, you would only send it to a unique e-mail address since all the duplicates would have been deleted. Alternatively, you can do the above, as well has have a form that checks database for that entry before adding it to the database (both are do-able, and not too hard to do). I can probably help you a little with it.
