Contest $20 dollar logo for a school team-paypal-72 hours

Hi,
I need a logo for a middle school team called the Heroes. The students are 8th graders, around the age of 13, so something that stands out to young adults. I am looking for an image that represents a Hero or Heroic...with HEROES underneath or near the image. We will be using the images for a t-shirt design with HEROES on the front, and an image on the back. Creativity is fine, just looking for something different.

It has to be a vector image and I need it to be psd file. I wlil pay using paypal.

The team likes this, although it looks similiar to another team, Legends. What about taking same idea and changing the actual people to symbols of heroes. Trophies, finish lines, hands holding, whatever?

Brandon93s-I like the idea of this...might be too adult like. They are 8th graders...I like the symbol vs people, maybe more than just one symbol that represents Heroes or Heroic.

MA.Gfx-I like the words...problem is with the people/kid images, it is too similar too another team we have. Can you make it heroic symbols? Like different sybmbols that would symbolize something heroic? I can explain more if needed?

Malditah-I really like this one. It is universal and would fit male/female. I have to run all these by my coworkers Monday. If you have anything else you can think of that is similar please post. At first we were looking for an image that had HEROES, and then above or below we were thinking about symbols that represent a hero. Such as a finish line, trophy, musical instrument, etc?

 

I am extending the contest another 48 hours because of the lack of entries.
