$20 DJ Logo contest

Hey there

The story goes like this. From time to time I mix a couple of tracks so I could be also called a sort of DJ. I'm starting a site where all my mixes will appear and I need a special logo for it.

So... I need a DJ logo that should be professional, modern and somehow connected to music. The DJ name is going to be "Nosfer" and anything creative, professional and attention grabbing will be picked as a winner. You can include things related to DJing, you can also include a tagline line "Coming straight from Tansylvania" but that's not absolutely necessary. If I find an awesome logo, I'll surely go for it.

I'm not in a big hurry and in about 4-5 days I will pick the winner. Payment will be done via PayPal.

Thanks for your suggestions! Until now, none of these logo tell me "Buy me" but I've seen some interesting ideas. I'm going to offer feedback for each of you guys:

@shizzie - I don't really undestand the font there, I can see "nos" but "fer" looks pretty weird. It's a bit simple, maybe you could try something more complex.

@apnits - still, really simple, just a special font, and nothing else to show there's a connection between "Nosfer" and DJing.

@Slimshadys - your idea looks pretty interesting, but I don't like that weird figurine on top of the logo.

@hugoboy - That face is again pretty weird, I don't dig it.

@kenny - your idea looks too cartoonish, it hasn't got that professional touch I'd like to find.

@witcher - simple, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I like that turntable instead of the "o" though.

@Chewysmom - sorry, but I'm not a vampire, even though Transylvania is well known for stories like that so those teeth shouldn't be there.

@sairos - your idea is way too simple, I think I could do that by myself too. That's why I asked for creative ideas, because my creativity sucks.

@scorpionagency - again, interesting idea but that figurine on top is rather odd.

@evod - it's a pretty cool idea but I don't see any connection with music there.

@hecky - this is also waay too simple, I'd like something more complex.

Here are a couple of logos of famous trance DJs. I don't ask you to copy these, but maybe you'll be inspired by them.

 

Hmm, the 'Armin Van Buuren' logo looks really simple yet you've hilighted it as one that you like? Can you explain this to us please?
