Contest $20 Directory Logo Contest

    I am looking for a great logo for my mildirectory.com. We are going to be kicking it off next week and I want it to look sharp. I don't have any special requirements other than making it look military and good. Try to use blue, grey, black, and white. Format should be .ai, cs4. Please no square logos, make it a rectangle. No PM submissions, and payment is paypal only. 48 hours till close, and please look at the site if you need to know about the colors. Any questions, please feel free to ask.

    @drkwrld - Not bad, I like where you are going with it. The font doesn't really say military though.

    @Dhira - It is more science than military. Probably might want to go back to the drawing board with it.

    @Orangu - I like where you are going with this. I would consider changing my colors to match your logo. The stars just don't feel like they belong and seem more like an after thought. Try working them in another way.

    Great job so far, I will await a few more submissions before choosing a winner.

    You nailed it. The stars are totally an after thought, actually I tried several stars with different colours but none seemed to fit.

    If at the end you choose my design, I'll get rid of them.

    @Orangu - I am digging the star in the middle. Don't have any suggestions at this point.

    @ighy - I appreciate the enthusiasm. It might be a little over the top though. Also your lettering might be confused with military.com and I would like to stay away from that. The stars, colors, and the MilDirectory is your strength. Everything else makes it seem like to much. You might want to rework it to avoid a play on another logo.

    @Divineworld - Ok am in the middle of your design. I feel paintball when I see it. I like your font though. You are about 50% there.

    generallala, #14 you are the winner. I am closing the contest. The 4 of us took 1 hour to decide because the competition was hard on this.
