First of all, if you would like to submit something but aren't willing to do it for just $20, post your entry along with your price. I really have no idea how much this sort of thing should cost.

I'm offering $20 to whoever makes the best looking set of icons for use on my website. The colors of the design haven't been completely decided on yet, so use your imagination. I do, however, want them to look sleek, yet professional. I will also want them delivered in .ai and/or .psd format so that I can resize them and make black/white versions.

Also, there will be more work for you in the future as I'll need quite a bit of design help getting this site to looking perfect.

Here are the icons that I need:

If you don't know what I'm looking for, there is a set at the following link that I absolutely love. I would buy this set, but I'd like to have mine look a little different than what "everyone else" is using.

    http://www.istockphoto.com/file_search.php?action=file&lightboxID=1441636

This contest will run till Friday at the earliest.
I will not choose a winner if there isn't a set that I think looks good.

That's a nice start sagyas. Pretty close to what I'm looking for. One thing is that the Home, Print, Sitemap, and RSS icons look a little too "bubbly". I'd also like to see the Contact icon be an envelope. Maybe I should've called it an email icon. Sorry for the mix up. Also, could you tell me what format(s) these will be delivered in?

Thanks for your entry, and again, nice looking start on this contest.

Nice entry erenNt, but I'm not really looking for anything with a background as these icons will just be added to a header beside the text indicated what each are. I'll just want the actual associated image, and no offense, but if I were to add just those images without the background they would look a little boring. They're solid white with no dimensions at all. Take a look at the ones found in the link from my original post and you'll see what I'm looking for. I don't want them copied, exactly, but you should get a general idea of what I like.

I actually like them the way they were before better, but I would want that envelope added. Could you deliver these in layered .psd and/or layered .ai? If so, that would be great!

I got another offer via PM to do these for $30. I'll be awaiting that person's design. Is there anyone else who is interested in doing these at all?

Please keep in mind that I'm not limited to just $20. I'll pay more for better quality icons. Just name your price.

I will start on my designs now.

Question though, do you want 3D icons like the one in your avatar, web 2.0 buttons, gradiant only ( basically a milder version of web 2.0 ) what are you looking for?

    Thanks,
    Jason

Look at the ones from the link in my original post. That's the "feel" I'm going for. I don't necessarily want those same colors, or even the same icons, but that type of look. I like how they have the very small reflection under them. I guess that's the 2.0 coming out? They don't have to be too detailed as they'll all be resized to around 16x16 mini icons on certain parts of my website, so they need to still look good and visible when scaled down as well.

Just for clarification, no designs will be accepted if they can't be delivered in either layered .psd and/or layered .ai. Different pages/sections of my website will likely have different color schemes so I'll need to be able to easily change the colors accordingly.

No problem, I have always worked with layered PSD's.

I had a go at the RSS feed one - as it was easiest, i went for shiny/reflective/gradient, if this is something you like i will have a go at a few more!

    [IMG][IMG]

Edit: had a go at home also.

Thanks for the entry Redders. I do like the attempt. I like the creativity and originality, but when the Home icon is resized to 16x16 you can't really tell it's a Home. It actually looks more like a shield turned upside down. Again, nice attempt. I hope you'll change it slightly and submit it again. Also, the reflection underneath doesn't HAVE to be there. As long as they look good, and professional, is all that I'm concerned about.

I see what you mean, have made a slight edit and i think it now looks more home like at 16*16.

Hmm, my first time making icons - here's the first 4, if you like / choose my design I am willing to make more... but for now it is too time costly to go any further, especially if the prize is only 20-30$.

    Hope you understand,
