Hey guys this is a contest to perfect our logo which is for a finance company. For this contest we will provide our current logos PSD along with the 2 font changes. You can make any changes that you want including different fonts, or graphics. Although we would like something along the lines of the current logo just perfected to excellence (sharpened along with effects etc..)

i would love to participate in this contest but before that i want to know that who was the winner of your previous contest because you showed us the winning design not designer and that design was not in that contest beacuse we are not fooling around wasting our time on contest like yours i just read iamwiki comment there and that makes me think that you are only here to stole our ideas or designs

Yea and i think this guy is doing this for much time and he did not mention any website in any of his contest so someone could not get access to his website and realise that i am here only to stole our ideas and designs

FELLOW DESIGNERS:

I don't know if this contest holder is a scammer (he will defend himself if he's innocent), but I have something to say about this subject, because there are others who have no intention to select a winner of their contests and because this guy could simply come back under a different user name.

Unfortunately, this planet is jam packed with desperate losers who have no morals, honor or integrity. Their lives are unsuccessful, so they try to leach off of other's hard earned skills and talents. They will fool you as many times as you're willing to let them and they will come back for more if you're innocent enough to give them a reason.

THE SOLUTION: Put watermarks on ALL of your designs to discourage people from doing this kind of nonsense. Putting a faded "sample" over the logo is better than nothing, but you can do even better. You have to put a shape or word over your logo that has a faded gradient with solid borderlines. If all designers did this, more would be discouraged from hosting fake contests, saving everyone valuable time.

 

Backread on Contest Holder profile page..find all threads then you can see if he/she's legit or not

 

Good advice. And thanks for posting the other info about this contest holder! And remember folks, use a watermark regardless, because these scammers can have as many user names as they want.
