    Hello talented people,

    I need a basketball logo for a friend.

    Name: Kingston Basketball Academy

    Colours: like in this image [​IMG]

    Elements: please try using a crown somewhere in the design (as in a king's crown) or a graduation hat (like in academy graduation hat).

    Please try and come up with something brandable. Please submit all entries on the thread (no pm entries please).

    Any questions please feel free to ask. Winner gets $20 via paypal. I am hoping to end this in no more than 72hrs (or sooner if my friend gets the design he wants)

    thanks for the entries guys. Here is some provisional feedback until my friend (and his friends review the entries more carefully).

    blastdamage: looks good but not sure about the shape behind the ball

    Casian Sky: thank you but it looks a little weak. The text is a little hard to read and the laurels as well as the crown look a little amateurish

    mjmdesigns: one thing the basketball guys are certain about and that is the colour scheme. They would need to see the logo in their original colour scheme. Your logos look nice but the crown somehow doesn't seem to match

    Tarcea Sergiu: looks good except for the spelling mistake (kingston not kingstone)

    onlyfights: really great to see you again. Thanks for the design. So far it is one of their favorites but they have a small problem. They would like a complete logo so what they mean by that is if they were to apply the logo as a badge on a t-shirt there should be no transparent places such as the transparent spaces between the crown and the ball and between the ball and the text under the ball (maybe you can try and fill that space - it is also ok to use white)

    davidearner: this design is also one of their favorites. But they would like to either have it shorter (by removing the space between the ball and the word basketball) or by simply making the ball bigger to also fill up that space between the ball and the word basketball.

    TJB10: looks good but not so sure about the crown. maybe try a different crown or just simply present it without the crown.
