    Hey all,

    I've got a client who needs a professional looking logo made up for both web and print use. In other words, it needs to look good in just about any color. Here's there requests;

    -Company Name "Tumblison Construction" needs to stand out.
    -Slogan "Turning Houses into Homes" needs to start bland and end in a fancy design (the idea is turning plain houses into fancy homes).
    -Needs to feature a "broad appeal" - don't relate to ideals for certain age groups.

    Also, for my sake, the logo needs to come in a large .psd (vector if possible, though I'll still need a .psd) file with easy editing. Designs can feature any public domain images or work, as long as finial design copyright is given to me. I'm looking for as many submissions as possible, and every attempt will receive feedback (though it may be at off peak hours).

    Payment will be made via PayPal, no AlertPay available, sorry. I reserve the right to not choose a winner if the client does not absolutely love any of them.

    Thanks for the entry! As I explained to the client, the first few entries are very much a shot in the dark. Only with feedback can the artists get a true feel for what you want. Here is what they're thinking;

    -They don't love the crane idea, because they don't do any crane work. Their work covers mostly remodels, new construction, and general handyman jobs.
    -They're afraid that the "Houses into Homes" won't look amazing when gray-scaled and shrunk to fit on business cards or company trucks.
    -For the main "Tumblison Construction" they're looking for a "less blocky" font choice.

    Thanks again for your entry.

    Overall, they quite like it. They love the way the underlining is done on the word "Homes" and how it carries from the image up top. They only found two drawbacks;
    1) It appears you were typing fast and misspelled "Homes" as "Homs".
    2) They dislike the font choice for the letter "b" and letter "g" - if you could find something like it without that style of letters it would be great.

    @lacea
    Honestly spoken, they didn't love it. They said it was overall too "cartoonish", and the slogan lacked any real design. Also, the icon wouldn't be amazing when printed and stuck on an invoice.

    Thanks for the entries so far, looking forward to more :p

    @sparkle92
    Thanks for the revision, here's their key points;
    -They would like the icon to be more elegant and complete, rather than having the half-and-half style.
    -The triangles on the lettering just isn't working for them.

    @Dante777
    They don't love your first entry, and are much more interested in the second. The icon and primary text are fine, the issue is with the slogan. They would like it to keep the "bland to fancy" ideal up.

    @scorpionagency
    They like the font used on #3, and the icon image on #1. As with a few of the others, the slogan needs to go from "bland" to "fancy" to keep with the general idea of fixing up homes.

    Also, for future reference, we would prefer all attempts be posted in this thread rather than Private Messaged. That way everything is public and It's also easier for them to keep track of submissions, thanks.

    Lots of feedback to give, so I'm only gonna hit the key points;

    @offiri0
    -"Tumblison Construction" needs to have a fancier font.

    @lacea
    -Icon doesn't appeal to them, and the font is far too thin.

    @Didrapost
    -The icon is too "large-scale" and doesn't relate to small-town business.

    @onlyvidiu
    -Love the roof idea on the "H" in Homes, but the windows will cause issues when shrunk. They would like the rest of the word "Homes" to be "fancier" as well to match.

    @scorpionagency
    -The icon is great, an amazing fit. The font on "Tumblison Construction" is perfect. The slogan bit needs to have a thicker font or it won't print well, and they'd like it centered under the primary text.

    Thanks for the entries everyone.
