Contest $20 Car/Auto Site Logo

Hello guys,

I'm looking for a professional logo designed for my auto news site which is http://carsroute.com

The logo will be placed in the same place as the current logo, it should have transparent background so it could fit my design perfectly and it should be sized 350x100.

Since the website is connected to cars you will probably get an idea on what to use there. You can also use our motto "Car news for speed addicts" as a text in the logo somewhere.

Also, if you want to get some inspiration [but please don't try to do exactly similar designs] you can check out autoblog.com, modifiedcars.com and many other auto blogs.

The one with the most professional look that fits our design will be picked as a winner in 3-4 days!

cbrown - I'm sorry but I'm not feeling that logo. It's a bit too dull for my site.

VivaWired - I like the 2nd design more than the first one but it's still not exactly what I'm looking for.

HerDish - your design looks interesting, but it's not modern enough.

track - I like your 3rd design with the speedometer and the motto like that. The "CR" though isn't too great, maybe you can find a great car or draw something else instead of it. Also maybe you can try different fonts for carsroute.

hpgraphic - I am sorry but your design isn't catchy enough.

leo viscus astrum - this is the most interesting until now but it might be a bit too complex. Maybe you can try changing that red to a blue to match my site's theme and i would also like to see how it would look with a differently shaped speedometer instead of that "o", maybe sized just like the other letters.

i try to keep a logo as simple as i can that's why i think that a photo of a car is out of place.

 

leo viscus astrum - i think the first speedometer version for "o" was a lot better. Maybe you can use that and resize it to have the same height as the other letters from "route". Could you try a different blue and some lighting effects and maybe you could add it over the site's header to see how it looks like.

divineworld - thanks for your try but it's not exactly what i'm looking for.

track - i think the previous version was better than this one, if you cold find a great replacement for that "CR" it might turn out to be great.
