since its a too big size as its a poster, so i'm kinda taking some time to adjust all the stuff properly!

will take few more days, as designing and presenting a poster is a tough job, all real n nice content must b there.

That statement can use clarification: Does that mean you are purchasing the rights to all submissions?

 

sorry for not clarifying.. what i meant was:

the winner's poster = I am the only one who is allowed to use the poster in whatever way i want and the designer is not allowed to use it in any other way and it cannot be included in portfolio.. which means, the copyright belongs to me

the others = i am free to use them (as an example, putting them in my blog saying that i made a contest and these are the entries, etc, but i probably won't do it so don't worry so much) but the posters belong to the designers if they want to use them in portfolio, etc. whatever..

and ur paying us only 20$ for a copyright, sis, copyrighting is not our issue*or may b i dun know * , it will take a few moreeeeee 0000000;s in the amount to ad a copyright.

and as Davey said, I too also have to think again before entring my entry, as its almost half done, n ur now changing ur conditions in between like this, copyright issues n all, i'm scared. n confused.

okay.. maybe i really don't understand what a copyright is. lol. actually, i'll tell you what i want to use the poster for so that you guys can decide whether it is copyright or not. or whatever..

it's just an organization i have in my university and we want to make alcohol awareness campaign. so, we will use the winner's poster, print it out and paste it around campus. I WILL NOT USE NON-WINNERS POSTERS AT ALL FOR THIS REASON. The winner's poster might also not be used at all since we are also making a contest somewhere else. But, rest assured that whether or not we use the winner's poster in this contest I held in DP forum, the winner here will receive $20 as stated. What I meant by copyright just now was (yea, probably i really don't know about copyright), i don't want you (the winner) to sell the exact same poster to somebody else (or else, why should i make the contest? i could just contact one designer and ask him to make one for me). for the rest of you who didn't win, you can do whatever you want with your posters.

What I meant that I might want to use them ONLY IF i plan to blog and said that we hold this some contests and these are some of the best entries blablabla, and we WILL give credits as who submitted the entries. Don't worry, we won't call them our own. I will contact each and every participant if i plan to do this. So, you can give me your permission, etc.

And to CB: I didn't change the conditions middleway. It was stated right in my first post. It was just some misunderstanding about copyright issues etc. I apologize again for any inconveniences since I was kinda ignorant about this and just use the word "copyright" when I didn't really know what it is.

So, just to make it short, if you don't want your winning poster to be pasted around campus and help the students to be aware of how dangerous it is to drink alcohol, DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY.
