$20 Banner Contest For Mario Game Site

Hello,

I need a new logo for my Mario game Site. The old one does not stand out enough and is too pale. You can see it here: http://onlinesupermario.com/images/Header.jpg

The banner should be the same size and have the same orange and green stripes on each side. I am looking for some kind of retro or funky Mario Picture in there. Make sure the banner matches the background. (E9E9E9)

@ NiyazKazi Looking more for at least some kind of mario graphic.

@spyraldesigns - I like the writing alot but could the background match the rest of the site ( light gray)(E9E9E9). Also could you change the Mario graphic to a more retro Mario Pic.

 

changed the background and added a more retro picture of mario. yoshi didn't really fit with the older mario, so i replaced him with an older graphic, too. i left the background behind "online" white.. looks more like the nintendo logo, but let me know if you'd like that the grey too.

Blends into the grey at the bottom looked good on a screenshot of your site.

 

Wow these are amazing. Keep them coming. I am thinking of ending this tonight because the entries are so good.

Thought the background of the header suited the body background on the site, quite nicely.

 

I like a bunch that I have seen so far. My favorites are the ones with the retro themes. Also if everyone doesn't mind I will ask that the winner round out the 2 stripes over the top of the banner. Thanks.

 

Round what? like have the green and the orange lines on the left and right bend at the top and then meet in the middle

I don't think it'll go with my design, but i'll try it and show you
