Ha nice, by the way am I the only one thinking that DLM isn't actually the girl in the picture? Can't just be me...

@DLM, you're being negative since none of your comments are ever constructive, I thought that was pretty obvious.

 

So I'm not the only person who thinks that DLM's a guy. I'm not being biased or anything, but dear dlm, just like what willyboy said, I have not seen ONE (yes, not even one) constructive post from you. All you've ever done was putting others down. Don't mean to sound rude, but it does seem that you have some kind of inferior complex disorder.

I'm sure no one would complain if you have constructive criticism to offer: you disagree with a person's method, you tell him what you think is right and how you do it. But NO, all you have been doing is calling them fools, but offering no solutions or anything constructive.

I say we just ignore HIM. If not just report his rude posts to the mods. No point wasting our time on people like this.

 

You clearly haven't read this entire thread. I made several posts (early on), explaining how the thread starter could use his time more efficiently and make more money with his articles. I explained that posting a large number of articles without promoting them would end up being a poor use of his time. I explained that by spending a few minutes promoting each article, he would make significantly more money in the long run.

But he didn't listen to me. And apparently you would rather blame me than read this thread and realize that I gave plenty of "constructive criticism" and helpful advice. Just because the thread starter chose to ignore me - that's not my problem.

 

It might be pointed out that DLM has a pretty good reputation here (four green lights), and that many of us find his posts to be quite relevant AND entertaining. I don't always agree with his posts, but I do appreciate his down-to-earth and no B.S. take on things here.

 

I appreciate the downtoearthness, but I think that it could be done in a little bit of a nicer way

I have to agree with DLM, if you read some of his earlier posts he has tried to offer some constructive advice to the OP, the guy would be better off investing his time promoting his articles instead of pumping out 20 + a day and get hardy any traffic. This method has worked for me and its the same technique that Petehols and other successful article marketers use.

Sometimes people don't like to be told that what their doing is wrong or inefficient, these types of people have to learn on their own and get burnt before they realize that what they are doing is stupid. I had a friend who did not heed my advice but after several failures is finally doing what I told him to do.

 

I have 4 articles for one of my ezine account -- one has nearly 2,000 views within a month, another about 600 views within 2 weeks, and the other two with 100+ views -- with at least a 40% click through rate.

It's quality, not quantity that matters.

Exactly. I apologize if I sounded rude, let us all be nice. If this thread was more like a discussion than a war, I'm sure the starter would at least tell us if he had succeeded or failed. If he had came back to announce his failure, he would be getting the 'I told you so' from a few of us here. We're all here to learn, surely all you 'pros' can spare a thought for the newbies can't you?

 

The first few post were about him getting burned out...which we all knew he would. i give him mad props though...he did a lot better than any of us thought. Now he should stop writing and worry about backlinking all his articles...that will have a lot better payoff.

Encouragement (especially from a bunch of random idiots on a forum) means nothing. We told the thread starter how to correct his strategy and he didn't listen.
