Does WhyPark host the domains for free as part of the deal?

    Since you've made the accusation....

    What you're saying I "hid", I must've said 3 , 4 or 5 times.... and it's not 100+, it's 100 domains for $100.

So now my accusation - are you blind, or just can't read english?

I use WhyPark for free for my domains. I didn't have to pay anything to open my account.
I did not see results from them.

Sedo did a lot better for me.
Parked.com did better for me too I think.

How did you get Whypark for free? Did you mean Sedo?

I tried Sedo too - I didn't have much luck there, but then again they were brand new domains... I posted the letter they sent me asking me to remove all backlinks into the sites when they were parked there in this thread. I also saw that clicks that were making a buck or two, go down to .03 and .04. It appeared to me that they would "throw a dog a bone" every once in a while to keep me there...

i really dont understand nothing in this whole thing not even the whypack thing~so that is to say you will have to pay $100 bucks to be able to pack your domains? how do you make money through adsense or what? or revenue would be generated from the domains through whypack? and where do you make your money?

I thought I had explained it pretty good.... I'll try again.

Whypark hosts the domains and supplies the articles, sitemap, feed (if need be), layouts, etc. I pay them $1 a domain for every 100 domains one-time.

I added the Adsense, Shopzilla, Shopping Ads, Widgetbucks, CJ, etc. I have control of the contents of my parked websites (not a standard "parked" page like at Parked and Sedo, etc.).

I keep all the money from those advertisers.

Here is an example site - Go Telepresence

I make the money from those advertisers when users click on any of them and only in the case of CJ ads, I make a percentage of those sales, the rest are PPC ads.

The Whypark sites are not like a single "parked" page or site. They have relevant articles, that open in pages that have all the ads on every page so users just don't go to the main site "page", they can navagate a true website.

    Hope that helps

ITs a great post and I understand your point of you
but, still I would prefer to develop the domains I buy (only reason I am buying them)

Parked domains can only get type in traffic if the URL is the exact phrase people look for
(that is what great names meant from a previoius poster) therefore backlinks are essential
to bringing traffic to them thus whypark might actually be the best alternative I have heard of

That was what had happened to me - same thing. According to Sedo TOS, you can't drive traffic to the domains, only accept organic type-ins from the address bar, or if maybe somebody stumbles across your site from page 127 of Google.

Yesterday's tally = $29.95 total between 4 advertiser programs (just added another too).

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you spend on the domain names initially?

    No, not at all....

Funny story but $7.05 each through GD.

My wife is a flight attendant and brings home magazines that people leave on the airplanes. She brought me home a CNN Money mag last November and in it was a story about Cisco and their "mission" with this stuff called "telepresence". In the article the CEO of Cisco mentioned that this new technology would make the first wave of the Internet seem small. That caught my attention. After about an hour of due diligence and reading up on telepresence, I got on my computer and started buying domains that were telepresence related. The Cisco CEO said they were putting millions and million of dollars into developing this tech.

After I bought a few domains (I couldn't believe they were available) and built a few websites, I started seeing a return immediately. So I kept buying.

I then went to a Telepresence conference in Las Vegas and listened to all the big dogs talk of where it was headed, and what they were doing to get it there and from the conference, on a laptop, I started buying even more. LOL.

I had to confirm they weren't going to change the word "telepresence", had to see it with my own eyes, and had to listen to these experts talk, and to make sure I believed it was going to go. I also wanted to make sure the word itself couldn't be trademarked, or tradenamed.

I'm at 305 "telepresence related domains now (and counting). I went to get more a few weeks ago, some I didn't get earlier, and they're gone now. LOL.

I figured I'd grab the good .com's I could think of, let others get the .nets and stuff, then the .com's would become valuable as the industry started to grow and people started "surrounding" the domains. I've had a few offers, but I haven't even replied because I think in a year, maybe two - this tech is off the hook. If you want to read some articles on it - check out www.telepresenceforum.com Back late last year there were a couple articles a week coming out on the press wire - now it's like 10 a day! It's made some HUGE strides in the last few months. ATT is onboard, Cisco announced it will have telepresence units in homes and in places like Best Buy and CompUSA in the next 12 months, stories and news like that are breaking out all over the place. Add the price of fuel, it's green and you have all the materials for an explosion. Hopefully I can catch lightning in a bottle.

Good luck - check it out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Cool story. Glad it's working out for you.

Do you just register them for 12 months and then renew annually if they are making money?

I just regged them for one year - renewals start in November/December of this year. I'm not planning on dropping a single one - I've stashed some loot to cover them for another year already....

:rolleyes:Alot of people are sceptical of whypark.. and that is expected.
I joined up a few weeks ago and in my first week i made a $45.75US profit from a single affiliate sale. I am not here to brainwash you all into signing up with them. But I realy do reccommend whypark as an excellent option for domainers of all status. I own around 40 domains and some are parked at sedo getting a few cents a day, others are with whypark. My whypark pages that got the natural traffic are now making a couple of dollars a day, and like i mentioned I made just over 45bucks instantly when someone clicked a banner and made a sale.

    Guys. It works.

More info can be found here, and you can also sign up.
    www.whyparkforum.com

All the best to those who choose this option.
    :)

Ok Guys, I really thought about it and i bought the 100 domains for $99.95 from whypark created my domain and added all that needed to be added to customize the pages. It told me it will automatically create 15 pages of content, this is remarkable. Now my question is, how long do I have to wait until i see this site fully running ? Because right now it has it as a real parked page with sponsor links on it.

    Second:
Besides google, what is the best adsense network to join up, I have adbrite...is this good ?? im asking because i set keywords and i always get off the chart ads that I don't even want.

Thanks for bringing this topic to the table, I didn't even know that this is a method on how park pages are created. Whypark looks very organized and easy to use. Now the real challenge is getting the right publisher adsense account besides google and making some $$$$

If anybody knows for a better adsense network that will work with whypark, please help me out.

    Thanks

    Congrats!

I have Adsense, Chikita, Widgetbucks, Adbright and Shopzilla all running on this Whypark site - Go Telepresence

I did away with Commission Junction and Shopping Ads so far. The relevant ads I had running weren't performing like some at Shopzilla, so off went Shopping Ads.

CJ wasn't doing much either - seemed I had the "clicks", but no sales conversions and I didn't want thos clicks "leaving" the page, so I'd rather have them on something that would make a few cents (better than nothin').

Make sure you get your sitemap file submitted into your Google Webmaster tools. That's a "must do".

You lost me. Once your DNS changes to Whypark, you can build your site in the Whypark Control Panel .

I buy my domains through GoDaddy, and it only takes a few minutes usually to change DNS. 30 minutes max is all I've ever seen.

Then once your DNS is set to the WP servers, you can set the amount of articles, layout, etc. There is no waiting, changes are immediate.
