in business there's a 20/80 rule. 80% of your income come from 20% of your customer. if i'm not wrong, 80% of our income come from our email list, do you agree?

Could you please give us more tips about how to use email list. Send newsletter to them? But the conversion rate is so low.

Not in our business. While we do see the 80/20 rule, I would not say that it comes from email.

Maybe your business gives you so much income with the email list, I think it depends on the niche you are in as well. I don't get that much income from the list.

Not so sure that is accurate. Not to say that the list isn't important of course, I just don't think that we can label it as '80% of any income will be from email lists' - depends entirely on what you are doing of course.

The 80/20 principal needs to be tested in IM as well as any other business.

For me right now 80% of my profits are coming from 20% of my websites. The question then is - do you work on increasing the profit of your profitable sites, increasing your profit on less profitable sites - or something different (like building an email list).

It varies from niche to niche and marketer to marketer. Right now search traffic is making up the majority of my profit but that is starting to change as I am really starting to push list building right now
