Contest $20 48 Hour Logo Contest - Buy WP Plugins

Hi there, I'm looking for a simple logo for Buy WP Plugins (buywpplugins.com) that I can use in the header of the site. It can't include the WordPress logo or font. Ideally it would be blue and fairly bold. I love the idea of integrating maybe a gear into the concept somehow (if it works/fits). Modern, simple, bold typography will be important.

 

My try:

 

Not a fan of the loop coming out of the top of the gear. And I'd like to see the letters WP done in different fonts... maybe even script like? Otherwise it looks pretty good.

I want to tell you that I`ve used the loop to shop the buy part of the logo. I`ve made two revision with and without the loop.

 

cosmin90 - Not feeling the font used for the WP, but otherwise I like it. The loop signifying a price tag or whatever didn't really work for me... but I understand it better now.

Animman - I like the Buy and Plugins font, but not the WP. The gear looks good, though I think because you have a giant hole in it, then it requires a stroke around the WP which looks a bit odd to me...

 

@davidcubed: Thank you for for comment. Here are my revisions. Mixed them up a little with a touch of gradient and drop shadow.
