I was just informed by the current highest bidder Maui6996 that he has changed his mind, mistaking my site for a blog.
Even that it was explained in the topic couple times already that this site acts like a newsgroup archive.
No big deal, as I said, site doesn't have to be sold tonight.
Unless there is a same or higher offer in 2 hours from now (midnight EST), I will wait and put it on the market again in 6 months.
If there is going to be another offer, for a sake of both parties and our time, please make sure, you do have enough financial resources available and will be able to escrow deposit for the domain transfer and the money after the site content is moved to you.

Normal low end sites perhaps. A long established steady earning site is more like 20 to 36 months. Several other factors can make it worth more as well.

 

Then buy it and quit interfering with peoples business.

 

Server synchronizes with Usenet once a day / at night. Posting to Usenet is disabled due to my own convenience, it's easier to take care of the site this large.
Because of that, site is acting for over a year now only as a Usenet discussion archive.

I was planning to turn it back on for a while, but never found a time to do so.
Also once such option is ON, it requires stronger dedicated server to handle constant synchronizing process.
