I think this rule is a bit funny, this is why i will not be entering, sorry!

I've decided I'll give out two runner up prizes - that's one x $20 for the winner and two x $5. Three people get paid, I get a whole variety of banners I can decide whether or not to use. Everyone wins, as here even if yours isn't the best, you have a chance of getting some money - rather than a pat on the back.

 

Ah let me clear up what i meant.

The rule says you can use any banners you receive. Your paying $20 for ONE winning design and $5 for TWO others. So far there have been at least 8 entries. So really you have 8 banners+ for $30, = $3-4 per banner.

So if i did enter and it was the fourth best, i would receive no money but you would still use my work.

That is all, not having a go or anything as i love to read your blog, is very interesting and i am glad your back writing - despite the decent guest posts. Just think that rule is a tad shady.

Well mate... that's kinda the reason for the contest eh

What I'm thinking is, all entries into a contest that don't win are worthless anyways - seeing as contests have specific criteria, your logo can't be used anywhere else - I'm still letting you use it in a portfolio of yours, without a problem... so I don't really see the issue. And here I'm offering three prizes, rather than the standard one - if you enter and were fourth choice, there's a good chance that most people would decide to use one of the three 'better' ones. More for variety then anything else.

just to say that on that design the dollar sign should really be before the 4000....

just being picky even though its none of my business lol!

 

i actaully think its good, i like the font used for the 4000, looks nice

Posting the updated one that was posted yesterday.

In my second sample posted yesterday, i have used stone image that symbolising "Success Secrets".

But anyway the visual image theme concept might vary from person to person view point.
