Tell me the link of the blog, if you don't mind, and I could take a look at the content. I could tell really quickly if it is a content thing.
I really found out that my friend site get most of the traffic from Google Search. One of my friend already told me that if my site get most traffic from Google Search Engine, then I'm doom as many of Googler already know about Adsense. But if you get most traffic from MSN or Yahoo or other search engine, most likely the web surfer didn't aware about Adsense and perhaps will click on your Adsense ads.
Always have pure image ads at bottom in not so useful spaces because image ads are paid for cost/1000 impression not cpclick so ppl having low CTR shud always opt for image ads atleast on non useful spaces like bottom of page. Hope this helps!
The readers to this type of a blog are ad blind, they know adsense and they are not intrested in ads. I have seen this time and time again, their are many different types of web users and savvy users know adsense ... and they click much less often. Take another niche ... say a niche where people are not as savvy to "ads" and the CTR will improve. Brian
I have a niche site, no SEO or advertising and I get about 12000 uniques a month. I get paid from Google about every three months. The amount I get varies a lot from day to day and can be anything from 35 cents to seven dollars or more. The monthly amount is always roughly the same though. If I had more time I would do a lot more on the website and bring in more traffic but people will only click ads if they're interesting.
That's right. I've found out that the people that use Yahoo normally is not aware of Google Adsense and you can get more income from that traffic. But when the surfer comes from Google, the CTR is not good enough.
put the addsense adds befor the blog and the blog under the addsense and look at how the site made , make the addsense adds look better then the rest of the site. so when people go there they have two thing they can do hit the back button or click on the google adds
Yea, same thing for me. I've been on adsense for 1 year and still < $100, but since I've came on DP my sites have been speeding up and I expect to get my first check within 2 months.
Make sure your ads are relevant. I have low traffic sites performing better than high traffic sites just due to optimization.
you should really use the "competitive ads filter", look it up on googles, you should find how to filter out useless ads, that cost only like $0.01 per click, regards, momomesh dot com
experiment, experiment and experiment. try different ad formats colors (not too flashy), ad locations. And don't make your changes from one day to the other.. leave them for a few days to see if your changes were worth it and then you could tell if you've done a good thing or a bad one. Trust me, I speak from my experiences. And also if you have other low visited sites.. don't put your ads on them because they will drag your overall income down.. That's how i think. Try it.
