Since the March 30 my site www.botsnhacks.com lose 50% of my traffic and now my traffic drops 75% and continue dropping.. I was hoping this Google Dance will last only for 2 weeks but I think this will last for a long time.. Is there anyone still experience this?:(

Are you sure it's because of Google Dance? or could it be your competitors getting better SERP value than yours? Or could it because of penalty? There's several reason that we should consider.

to be honest I doubt this is a google dance. looks more like a penalty to me. have your indexed pages dropped?

May be the recent PR update is causing this, did you check your PR lately?

Based on Webtools posts are indexed, but on search it doesn't appear.. How do you know a site is being penalized? I don't even received any email about my penalties.. Some of my keywords are gone and some are not.. All what I did before this happen was change my Domain name last March 6 2009, then before PR was released I start loosing traffic..

Could be a variety of things. Put some analytics on your site and try to find the culprit.

its permanently online, used to be a botsnhacks.blogspot.com but I bought a domain and change it into botsnhacks.com only last month.. still hosted under blogger.com

I got 2k unique visits everyday coming from Search Engine but during March 31 up to now my site traffic drops 50% to 70%, lose all nice keywords where my site used to be on first page of SERP..

As far as I know, changing your domain's name does influence SERPS and that is the reason why your traffic is dropping - google doesn't "know" your domain just yet :)

oh ffs :) why didnt you mention this in the first place.

    1) Did you redirect
    2) did you close down the original blog site
    3) did you expect no consequences as a result of not doing either.

    Theres your answer..
I dont use blogger, but if you cant redirect from blogger.com (do they provide this facility?) then you have only one choice.. keep the site there and forget your new domain.
INSTALLING a redirect into an established site is always risky and carries loss of rankings in the serps.
NOT INSTALLING a redirect and using a new domain name does nothing at all. Your old site will still be listed, your new one is just that (a new site as far as google is concerned), and even worse its a copy of your old one !!!!! Sandbox city.. permanently.

Carry on using your blogspot domain. Unless you can do that redirect, its too late to change your current one.
