It's been just over 2 weeks since I've launched my newest website and I have gained my first revenue today. May 21th - site launched. June 6 - First earning ($0.11) Hopefully that amount would show up more on the next upcoming days and 2 more weeks would be increased.
Congrat, hope it will increase more than you expected, it happens to me many times, concentrate on your site content and do some SEO.
What's the site, if you don't mind? It seems a little low, but then again, you might not have advertised it much?
Congrats, mate! However, you should do a little more advertising, and maybe placing the ads in a more highlighted position.
Yes I just recently to start link building through digg, stumble, and del.icio.us for 2 days only. Other than that, I haven't really started to build links yet but I am probably going to start soon.
Congrats! Write great content and visitors (and thus revenue) will come. Social bookmarking sites will help for sure
Congrats. Nothing feels better than earning a lot while remembering your first few cents from adsense.
Congratulations. Remember that a lot of rich people started with much less profit. Just keep testing. The sky is the limit!
my site hardly has any content, im earning around $4 a day which is fine with me , although weird day today, was at 0.00 for ages, managed to get $2 , I shall upgrade the site and hopefully earn a nice $20 a day , u dudes think its good to have loads of simple sites that people may find useful, or one big site :O?
Boy was I excited yesterday with the first revenue this new website made. But today, I woke up and saw that it already earned $0.64 already. Hopefully, this would continue and is not only luck. I'm looking to change a few things around from the website right now such as buttons and color themes to contrast the layout more.
A week after the first revenue kicked in ($0.11), the site continued to gain around the $0.10-$0.15 mark each day with 2 days of the week gained about 6 times as much ($0.60-$0.90). Today is a major goal for me as I've recorded down over $5.00 today after changing a few ad placements around. Before, the right nav is actually a second colum between the leftnav and content and it contained a 250x250 image advertisement. I've moved that and made it a sidebar on the right and changed the advertisement to a large vertical image and saw a higher CTR. I'll be testing to see if this placement continues to be effective for the next week.
Hopefully this is the first step to riches for you. May I suggest a change in placment of the ads. Put it in area where it will catch attention more.
