2 unique content sites Golf and Luxury items Joomla CMS

I am cleaning out my server of sites I haven't had time to keep updating and growing, so hopefully some of them can find a new owner that can throw a little TLC their way and bring them back to life.

I sold 2 of my sites off yesterday this is the next two I'm looking to sell.

All unique content built using the Joomla CMS. All images are from clipart.com where I am a member so they are legal to use. Site hasn't had adsense on it but it recieves organic traffic each day from the Search Engines primarily Google. Also the spider activity from yahoo, MSN and Google is great coming almost every day so new content added to these sites would get sucked up in a hurry. A good site with potential for someone who will continue to add content.

I will transfer the site for the new owner pending they can provide me with Cpanel access/create the domain account on their hosting and send me the name server info to restore the site on their hosting.


Submitted to a couple of hundred directories, and several articles distributed. Been online since May or June of last year.

Again unique content all around the golf theme, images are from clipart a couple of bucks in adsense over the last few months but nothing major. Again getting organic traffic mainly from goofle in the 5-10 uniques a day (see traffic proof below). Are you using a licensed copy of the Joomla Magazine, Mosets tree, and the SEF Advance component? Altogether those components cost $200 and you need a license for all 3 components for each site. So that means if teh licenses are valid, they'd be $400 for both sites. Yet, you are selling both sites at a $160 BIN? That's a $240 loss alone. Not even factoring the time you spent on the site, the domain price, and the directories you had it submitted to.

Please answer this before I make my bid.

You bring up a very good pt. I bought the mosets plugin and the Ijoomla plugin quite a while ago and I am not using the most recent versions (that use ioncube) the version of iJoomla I got the beggining of last year or late '05 (the first edition) I believe I could use on multiple domains from the one purchase. How ever to upgrade to the most recent version you'd require purchasing 1 liscense for each domain and register it with Ijoomla.

With the magazine component since it's the first issue of it there are some bugs with using magazine pages rather then regular Joomla content pages. I use the regular pages and solely use the Magazine for the home page.

Mosets while it's running on both domains... I think you're right I should have a liscense for both I will remove it. It's not doing anything on either site at the moment it was just there for reciprocal linking down the rd.

SEF advance...this plugin was purchased by a large group I was working with last year and I believe a multisite usage liscense was granted, it was installed on many domains (not just mine).
