Step 1
Keyword Research

1. Research long tail keywords that have at least 100 searches above.
The best and free keyword tool for long tail keywords research is

Example: golf
Founded “how to hold a golf club” =>A great keyword to monetize.

- long tail keyword should be at least 3 words and above and the more searches means the more demand you have. Remember to exclude words like ‘free’, you want to keep ‘buying keywords’!

2. Research long tail keyword that have lesser than 800 results in Google. The lesser the easiest for you to dominate the first 2 pages of Search Engine.

Used the keyword above “how to hold a golf club”
Search with Google.com

Example: Allintitle:how to hold a golf club (108 results)
(All in title mean keywords that are in the title of the search result, this is an important trick)

Bingo, this keyword got only 108 competitors, this is very very easy to rank for and you can easily use the method I share below to have half of your page dominate Google under 24 Hours.

Tips: In order to outrank your competitors, the time you need is only 24-48 hours.

Step 2

The answer: We are going to use Video Marketing.

1. Create a video using only pictures. Use the free tools available which is Power Point and then convert it to video using Window Movie Maker which is free too.

If this sound too much works for you, I suggest try out animoto.com. Is a free and powerful video creating portals.

2. Open an account at TubeMogul.com and distribute your video in only 10-15 minutes of setting up everything.

Tips: Remember, to position your main keyword “how to hold a golf club” at the title of every video and repeat the keyword once in video descriptions.

Power tips: If you use the same title and same description, it appear not unique to Google and they will not rank them very high. What I do is use 15 different headline and 15 different description to all of them.

The problem is you cant distribute 15 different titles and description using TubeMogul.com, you need to do this manually.

The minutes you distributed all the videos. Check at google with the keywords:

You would not surprise that you’ll get “5 to 6 listings on the first 20 results.”

Well, it could be for keywords with no competition at all.

 

Good guide mate, I saw Tubemogal the other day and it looked like such an amazing (and free) tool. Video marketing is by far the most powerful marketing tool, combining images, text and sound into an eye opening presentation.

 

Video Marketing is indeed a great way of bringing targeted traffic to your website as well as ranking high in SE. Other than that, posting on different forums and blogs with a link with proper Anchor Text will also help.

You can do this but with Article Marketing (which is what I do )

 

try downloading Roboform, from roboform.com they offer a free trial and it will let you quickly setup whatever accounts you need.

 

Tips: In my opinion, video will replace article one day.

Let say if you submit video and article for SEO or ranking purpose.

Article will take you days to review and get indexed.
I cant deny article is great for long term so is Video marketing.

The different is video will get you instant traffic, almost instant approved by most sites.
You will see your intent to rank keyword indexed is as little as 15 minutes.

Beside this, video is more entertaining too (There is visual and audio effect)
The prove for this...Statistic from Comscore showed that
there are now more people doing searches in Youtube then Yahoo and Msn...

Why is this important? Think about it.

They are not consider a real visitors who is in their mind
looking for certain things but only research.(writing articles, study researches etc)

I use article marketing too...But, as for now, I'm switching my flavour

That's the best advice I've seen on here in awhile. If people actual understand what you're talking about, they'll benefit greatly. I just started doing the research the other night, I'll be working on this for a few weeks, there's so much untouched material I can relate to with with my site. Thanks for reinforcing my newly found knowledge.

 

this kw has 1600 exact searches on google per month which also includes google partner sites meaning actual google searches per month is less than that. even if you get 75% of that 1600 searches per month on google, you are looking at about 40 searches per month on google for that term. if you manage to get on the middle of front page of google for that term, guess how much traffic you will get per day to your site? a big fat ZERO! you can get a few visitors if you manage to rank #1 for that term. its good to get ranked on the front page but the work has to pay off. getting ranked for LONG tail kw is fine but i would go for a term that would bring me some traffic for my site.

if you are doing this for a youtube video, then people will have to watch your video and be intersted enough to click on the URL in the description or type in the url to visit your site. then chance of getting any traffic to your actual money site is even lower. this method will only make you money if the search term is very high converting and the payout is very high.

another thing to keep in mond is that even if you rank on the front page of google with this method for a long tail term, you will not be able to maintain that ranking unless you start promoting/link building for your video. it only works for a very short period of time

 

You mean 40 searches per day, right? This means 1200 visitors per month for one longtail keyword (using your 75% assumption, obviously it will be lower than this). How is that a bad thing?

It's even easier if you know what you do. Yes it works with Youtube but I do it mostly with just an article, most times in less than an hour and avoiding the work of creating a video and upload it to the "tube". Apart from that it works with medium competetive KWs (1-2.000.000) too. Somtimes you just get a 2nd or 3rd page listing instantly, but with some additional links, it's on first page a few days later.
