While I'm not trying to bash Wordtracker, I have to agree with vansterdam as he brings up some excellent points. I don't think that Google adwords tool is 100% accurate either, but I think it's closer than most others are in terms of estimated number of monthly searches.

I have some kws for other websites that get hundreds of uniques each day but according to most tools they should be getting zero..sometimes basic logic wins. The shorter the keyword, and the more common the more results it will get. When all else fails I use googles estimator.

I agree that maybe the Keyword searched for is more relevant in sites and blogs than videos.

I thing you missed something important, once you reached the highest position you think you have to rewrite your keywords into more competitive one. So you have better and greater chance to increase your traffic.

@DesignsOnline - it's often quite clear from the snippet that Google shows what the page is about - whether it's sales, information or entertainment. However, without knowing the OP's keyword or url, it's hard to form a clear opinion on that particular case.

@vansterdam - I understand your point very well, but without the full google search data being available, it's very hard to say who's right and who's wrong on this - the key is that while getting a high page rank is important, it's not the end of the story. Of course, it's entirely up to you to choose which keyword research tool you use, but the majority of SEOs tend to use a range of tools to get the clearest picture.

Depending on the keyword WordTracker may sometimes not be the most accurate.
