2 Sites or Not for better SEO?

Hi, I have a small home inspection business and a friend is going to start up and also use my company name.

Question: Should I branch off, for instance use napoleon.cc/barrie for me and use napoleon.cc/toronto for my friend, keeping the same main site with different locations? I notice some franchises do this, i would like to get as much SEO value as possible out of this.

Or should i set up a clone type site for my friend. Which would give the best SEO?

Thank you for taking the time to consider this question :0)

    Thanks

    Roger Frost

Use one main site and have sections for each business and location.

If you want to rank under 2 different locations then yes I would build 2 seperate sites. This way you could generate more content for that location. Or you could just create 2 different pages with the target location for each page. It all depends on if you guys are going to bee working together or not. If you both have a different style then you would want seperate sites.
