    Hi guys,
    I have to similar sites
    ----------------------
    1. www.freeproxytool.com
    2. www.surfbyproxy.com
    ----------------------
they both run a free cgi script to bypass proxy and i put some ads on them.
my problem is that, even they have nearly the same page view but very very different click. The first site always receive much much more than the second.
For ex: the fist site (page view: 2000 - click 30) - the second site(page view: 1700 - click 3)
    ----------------------

Could it be duplicate content indexing problem with one site better indexed than the other?

After rereading the post and looking at the sites doubt if it is duplicate content problem. I like feel of second site better than first. I wonder if it a matter of your source of traffic for the two? Am sorry to say I have no helpful suggestion. I would not want to upset the good performer but out of curiosity would love to know what would happen if you switched the webs so poorer performer showed for first site listed.

I see that freeproxytool has two </head> tags. No meta keyword tag, and no description but I take it that is your good performer. I am lost regarding the differences.

Have you compared site stats in regard to search phrases used to find each site?

Best of luck. If you come up with an answer please post for I would love to know why.

On the first one, you don't give people the field to enter their URL to surt to, and on the second site you do.

Suggestion: remove the URL field from the first page on the second site, and just link to it like you did on the first site and see how it goes.

    Post results here.

Try changing the colours, I think you'll be surprised.

With the first one, on gray, it blends well, on the second, the Google ads stand out like a sore thumb...

    thanks for your ideas guys...
yesterday, the second one even had the page view more than the first one but still received much much less clicks...
yeah, the URL field from the first page on the second site might cause the problem...

    thank guys,
now everything is on the right way, i changed the index page so people have to go to "Main Tool" page to use URL field. And the file name "proxy-main.php" also makes ads be showed better... :)
