Hello I have 2 SEO questions I hope the moderators and seo experts can give 1) I was told that if a site has lots of pages indexed by google beginning with keyword and then following by unique content, they look at the site as more of an authority site Example, if my keyword with apples, my title page would say “Apples: We sell the best green apples†and another page starting with Apples: but different phrase to follow… So if a site has 100 or 500 pages… all with using their best keyword, does that help them rank for that keyword in Search engines? Obviously they’ll have to have a good page on their keyword, but these other 100’s of pages I view as “supporting†pages and just another page to become an authority website in googles eyes. And on each of these pages it would link to the MAIN keyword page. I would like opinions on this strategy 2) Is there anything harmful with creating 100 blogs on blogger, each blog focusing on separate keyword and at end of each article link back to my MAIN website for that keyword. Example: say the blog is all about “red applesâ€, at end of each post I would have 1 line with anchor text keyword using phrase “red apples†pointing to my inner page all about red apples to my MAIN website. And I would do same for each of blogs and all would have unique content. Would this get me banned? If so why? Companies all the time have blogs on different domains and they always reference their own company at end Thanks for feedback
i will talk about 2nd one,,,,,,, Via blogs it doesn't make sense to create 100 blogs instead create 1 blog focus more on it and try to get good rank and quality backlinks to the blog after which u can place ur main link of ur website in ur blog. U can also see Google's webmaster guidelines for this in details. The question here is why u want to create separate blogs? For SEARCH ENGINES?? Newer commit this mistake ,,,,,,,, First always think of users Once users love ur site automatically ur site would gain ranks.
what about Q2 reg. Q1 it's much better to have links from numerous sites than just 1 site plus i can use these blogs as link bait to get good deals done
Buddy do u really think that creating many blogs and placing links would work???? Why u guys don't understand - don't go for short cuts Many marketing and google experts have clearly said u have to create for USERS Even if u use 100 blogs that won't really help u as google won't give any weight to ur 100 blogs. Its sensible to use strategies for what purpose ur creating blogs. Why u want users to split up??? I suggest create 1 blog, run it, check it for 3-4 months, analyze the traffic get PR and then go for the 2nd or 3rd blog which should relate to ur subject. But it would be better with only 1 blog vs 100 Coz google know its not natural linking,,,,,,,,, Keep in mind google loves natural linking and not link exchanges,,,,,,,, Regarding 1st QUES: Yes creating unique titles would really help with unique keywords also note it must relevant content and should not be cloaked. Create unique meta tags for all pages. Yes u can interlink which is for accessibility. Now its all clear,,,,,,,,,,,,,
#1 - Google does like sites that are about a theme. So if you have a lot of pages on the same theme then each page will rank higher for the theme. #2 - DON'T DO IIITTTTT!!!!!!! You're bound to get caught. It is so much easier to just work a little bit every day and rank well in 6 months than to take a shady short cut and end up de-indexed in 6 months.

No1: It is a good idea to have a general theme to your website. It will help Google decide whether your site is relevant for a topic of full of random cr@p. I would choose a couple of keyword per page within the same theme and optimize those pages for those keywords. It is the most efficient way. Example: page 1 ab out green apple, page 2 about golden apple etc....your theme stays "apple" and you will do well but each page will have its own strength. No2: This is a bad idea. First of all, why on earth would you want to create 100 blogs??? It's better to have one strong blog than 100...think about managing those blogs etc...los of time wasted here i think.
No. 1 - Unique Keyword and Unique would be perfect. No. 2 - Totally, don't do such hundred blogs. Just what the other members have posted, focus on just 1 blog, optimize it, get it rank then have it link to your site..
