Sites 1 1/2 months old, link building and dir submissions, rank #1 in bing, rank #2 in Yahoo and WAS ranked in Google rank#2 but now doesnt show up within the TOP 100 in Google!?

    What could have went wrong?

Is this what they call the sandbox?

I did a site:sitehere.com and it shows pages in google but thats it....

It's called - your site is young. Google tends to give young sites a hard time - sometimes putting them in the sandbox.

Google has recently added new filters and modified a bit to the existing ones due to which some fluctuations have occurred. If your site does not return to the existing position in a month then it has been affected by the new filters. Make sure you are not getting engaged in black hat techniques because in that case Google penalize your site only when it comes to know about it.

Have you done anything that might have caused Google to impose a penalty?

It may happen that, your site is new that is why, it can go to sandbox, as it is very important to check whether, your site is not having any link farming which may affect your site ranking.:)

It will honestly take time and patience. In the meantime, continue to add relevant, original content, and work on your backlinks. Use variations of your keywords in your anchor text. There is not guarantee that it will ever be back, no matter the effort you put into it. That is what makes SEO so challenging.

If you are willing to spend money, might I suggest rather than paying for directory submissions, you give Google AdWords a try? If you want to be at or very near the top spot in Google, AdWords is the one sure way to get there. You could start with a small budget, and give yourself a month or so to see if it is of benefit to your site. Be sure to use Google Analytics, as well!

The problems in sites is: they are too young to stay in the firts place, you must wait and try make more backlinks in your site and with high PR to make more traffic and visites in I'm sure you visite will be have a good google rankin.
