    1. On your review sites (more than one product in the same niche), do you open your links in new window or same window. Which one do you think is more effective and why?

    2. Can you upgrade an EXISTING affiliate clickbank account to become a publisher account. Can't find the answer to this question in their FAQ.

    1. I would open the links in the same window. People get annoyed when you pop windows up on them.

    2. You can upgrade an affiliate account to a publisher account. Just fill in the website info and submit it to clickbank.

    Hope this helps!

There are various opinions on the window target. I have found that it depends on the type of site you are coming out of. If you are doing a comparison site, then the target needs to be a new window. If they click off of this, you want them to still be on your review page. They will more than likely click one of the other links as well.

My comparison sites see about 60% of the traffic on the #2 item as I get on the #1 item. #3 gets about 30%.

If they open in same window and someone clicks close, you lose the opportunity to get clicks on the rest of your products.

I would open the links in a new window, it would give the customers more opportunity to check out the second product in case they didn't like the first one because you have to realize that not all customers would spend their time clicking the back button.

Yes, you can do that but why don't you just open a new account with them as a publisher, it is still free.
